    I consider you a much wiser dogman then me. You say you really study pedigrees. Let me ask you this, Wildside blood sucks, we agree on this. What are these guys doing different to get it to work? Alot of their good dogs they have bred has a sliver of wildside blood in it. What's your take on it? Here are some examples of dogs I am talking about. I just picked a few that stand out. They have tons of good stuff without wildside in it but I am shocked how they get this stuff to work so well.

    Most of Wildside's best stuff had Lucifer in it. Plus, if you were really selective I am sure they put out some good dogs...it is just that they mass produced so much stuff. If you selected only the very best stuff from them I am sure it could work out. Another thought is, a man I consider one of the best modern day breeders once told me you need a little bit of donkey in your pedigrees, if your dogs are too well bred they aren't worth a damn. Perhaps the Wildside blood was the donkey in the pedigrees.
    When you breed a horse to a donkey you get a mule - a super hardy animal. The horse being the pedigree/performance animal and the donkey being the lesser/illbred animal. But, you only want a little bit of donkey, otherwise you are just making more donkeys.

    The donkey mule breeding method, hmmm. This would explain alot of good ones with suspect peds. I guess this is the art side of breeding bulldogs.
