Kel Tec shotgun anyone?

never owned anything KelTec made, but 7 rounds of 00Buck on one side and 7 slugs on the other = mass destruction

KelTec sucks. Cheap pieces of ____! Much better in my opinion. http://www.benelliusa.com/shotguns/benelli_m4.php Much more expensive as well.

 

alotta knowledgable folk carry their 3AT with confidence, so im hoping they have turned a corner.
i admit ive looked at their designs in the past and just wished someone else took their idea and manufactured it in another plant. lol

*add...come to think of it Ruger has "improved" 2 of their designs already. the LCP .380 and whatever their new compact 9mm is called

 

I hear ya Lee whatever any likes is cool. I like the M4. I also have a modified 870 and love it as well.

 

never owed a shotgun but that kel-tech look fucking sweet for 800$.

 

Had a kel tec pistol once.It was a big piece of shit ,and i sold it back to the guy i got it from for $20 less than what i payed for it lol.But this was probably 6-7 years ago,and they could have improved there stuff by now.I love the idea of that shotgun Lee D,why don't you buy one first, and tell us if there worth a fuck or not.

 

If the shotgun is anything like there pistols they are huge pieces of shit.

 

im not sure i could justify spending 8 bills on something like that with 2 870s already.
i love the idea of flipping a switch and feeding off the other tube..shot to slugs.
they got some real thinkers working for em. i will give em that

 

They need to put that kinda of feed on the bottom of a Saiga 12, then they would have something.

now THAT is a piece of shit. ive owned 2 Busmaster carbon fibers, pistol and carbine and they both were a huge waste of cash.

 

It's an interesting design.If it proves to be any good,I'd be interested.

*note..polished feed ramp, swapped mags, buffer springs, you name it. different loads, nothing worked

You couldn't pay me to take a Kel-Tec pistol, let alone a shotgun made by them. But, I've also been trapshooting for most of my life so I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to my shotguns.

 

If you dont have a pile of cash to burn and want a good Shotgun, Benelli has one they produce for home defense i believe i paid under 500.00 for mine and it is awesome, a step up from the 870 IMO. The M4 is the real deal but it is over 2grand if you can even find them- check out the (A12, AA12-automatic shotgun) on youtube, now that my friends is what I am talking about.

 

Only know of one guy that was happy with the kel-tec pistol and he's only shot about 100 rds threw it. Not a fan of them myself. Benelli makes good shotguns but there pricy, I paid $540 for my Mossberg 930 and it won shotgun of the year in 09 over the highly regarded benelli, 8 shot auto loader is no joke. I personally shot a shit load of rounds threw mine with out any problems what so ever, and I shoot twice month at least. As far as pistols go, ruger definitely stepped it up with LCR and the SR9 standard and compact. I will probably end up with both the Light Carry Revolver and SR9C by spring time.
