Yea you probably could catch more than me in a half hour,for one i use APBT (not mutts) and it takes a minute to get them off.Two i don't just run up a stick a knife em,i cutt there balls out and turn them lose,that also takes a minute.My little black dog woulda pulled the ears off that hog in the time it took two of yours to catch him.Whats 94 kilos like 200lbs?that's an average good hog over here nothing special.I don't know what the fuck show hogs gone wild is??But i can promise you this,your aren't doing anything over there that hasn't been done over here.

You read back to the post were i said i hunt pigs for money they are sold for human consumption sent to europe a dog that is going to tear the ears off a pig is no use i have 4 of them here they good for shits and giggles but for a real day hunting they are left at home or used as catch dogs cause you can't get em off i catch mine live and tie them up put them in my trailer mate tow em back to camp and put em in the sty till ready to go home then shoot and gut em when it cools down...
We don't have big pigs i see your yankee hogs are huge but how many people actually catch the monsters? That is also due to the food available, parts of australia have huge pigs i can drive 500km away and 94 is average but here it's huge...
My mutts put the pork on the fork mate when hunting for $ thats all that matters i love the apbt's to and love watching them catch pigs but the time spent getting the dog off could be better spent catching another out of the same mob here we are playing the waiting game with my curr

Was full time pig hunting but the wet season is not reliable enough to be full time job and all the dramas here with the european market it was pretty up in air for last 2 years just looking to come good now but still only opened for 3 months this year...

I don't tell fairytales about my self though and i am not the best here there is a fella in town that hunts with a mob of fox terriers and a 22 magnum and gets a good thousand or more each year...

 

I for one have enjoyed reading this thread. I dont think you were out of line. JMO.U take pride in your dogs as most ppl do. Now if you were saying you were the best in the world then yea, tootn the ol horn a bit too much. But you cant go by whats on tv by any means because they NEVER do any sport or activity justice because all they focus on is ratings. And making comparisons on how yall do it there verses how its done over here based on a show isnt right. Because if they was to do a show on how yall hunt hogs you will b bewildered because its prob not how you do it or even the right way to do it. Even though I wasnt offended but others were it takes a real man to apologize and admit error. Much respect to you. Big props to you for your success with the hogs too.

 

i would do a search on the mayfield keep for fitness. theres also a thread here about ripped dogs which means well muscled dogs, and PM the members who have good ones. scratcher87 and DTK have nice dogs and DTK knows a lot about conditioning
