If that's what he was doing, clearly I doubt that, ill apologize but until he comes back and answer that, it is what it is, with that still of topic stuff!

Not trying to be smart, but youre being very aggresive when someone questions what you post. imo consistency is better found in dogs that work, by breeders who have a purpose for their dogs, who keep a bunch if not all and see how they turn out, and then make a decision on which to breed. Just going to a show and conditioning, and even follow ups as you mentioned aren't nearly enough, a judge can't tell you about the character of your dog, merely observe what they see in passing. Ribbons are fun though. And so is a good bbq with other owners. But all thats off topic as well.

And like I told him if he wants to go into detail, my pm is always open, to anybody! I like to give my answer and keep it moving, not be questioned by someone who didnt even answer the topic, and that clearly said I was off topic, which I was far from off!

Clearly you can't comprehend, what I stated was enough to answer the topic, don't try and play the victim.

BTW Capo not trying to make arguements with anyone, just thought the OP would be better served with us giving him more dogs that consistently show good conformation. If I came off as an ass I apologize. Last thing we need is another thread going down the tubes.

this isnt that difficult of a topic really. its just like everything else imo, the man behind the dogs. im pretty sure boogie could have took his Boogieman dogs and got all sorts of different results if he wasnt as selective as he is, but instead he knows what hes looking for, stuck to his guns, and got what he was looking for.

    ONLINE PEDIGREES :: [277251] :: SLINGSHOTS BOOGIEMAN

This is the real Boogieman! True Bulldog. Boogie Jr. placed in Conformation and won 2 hunts.

I always think of this dog when folks talk of the Show Boogieman dogs.

I hope nobody is waiting on me to reply, as I have posted enough about conformation. Go to some "Conformation" shows. At the benining of each show the Judge will say - I am not judging the owners, but rather their dogs and I will pick the ones with the best conformation. They typically pick the dogs with the best conformation and the best conditioned. If they see a dog with great conformation but not the best shape(condidioning) and a dog with just as great conformation and in great shape. I know which they will pick. I would do the same - Seen it first hand.
They are not judging anyones breeding program so to speak -but - They will however probably note the dogs that are the most consistent, and there are quite a few folks that have the same lines, which are - yes - consistent.
The folks that been at this for a while typically do have both conformation, and consistency as they should - why else breed two dogs -

If this thread is about more than that - I missed something !!

Someone that has not been to any conformation shows - may not know what people are even talking about and clearly should just read, not post. People here can read between the lines.

Why dont we start to post pictures of dogs with great conformation and see who has em and who dont. Maybe that will enlighten us all more than throwing rocks at eachother. Who has the legs to stand on here may also become clear to all.
    Who wants to go first?

Never seen that boogieman before. Dogs with the same names always throw folks off! I'd call him a chinaman dog if I were to talk of that one.
    \

I want to see the Boogieman with with all the RD blood.
The one I have seen have just about as much ruffian as it does RD blood - which is just a little bit - Not like it was super stacked in the pedigree or anything like that
    Please enlighten -

Re: bloodlines with consistent confirmation ?

Caldwells boogieman holds and produced conformation consistantly because its built on Colby on top with essentially clouse and Heinzl on the bottom both clouse and Heinzl are built on half or heavy colby themselves...

garners stuff is consitant but not every dog looks like chinaman thats for sure.

The most consistant is as always was.. Colby... ... MOST of the crosses into Colby produce Ch or GrCh as well.. One of the most sound proven dogs of this era Virgil was half colby, Jeep was half Colby, (Mr. Colby considerd Jeep Scatterbred) . Several others.. What ever the strain if it looses structure or intelligence it can go into colby and produce a lil more than great dogs consistant with solid colby traits.. Thats not the case with any other strain, they wash out more than the colby strain does look at the colby ch's and look at the ch's that are half colby with whatever boudreaux, Mayday buck, Jocko, Hammonds, Jeep, mayfield, .. pick one, if its performance and breeds into colby; colby will be dominant, the only strain pure in itself all the way back to the boat, with records showing that almost every great dog and line out there has Colby in the foundation. ..

LOL Caldwell's Boogieman was not based off Colby, Heinzel, or Clouse dogs Try again.

Great looking, but I can not tell too much about its conformation from the picture. It is a CH though whitch tells me it must look better in person.

I don't see it either I see a lot of things but Boogieman looks to be scatter bred based on his pedigree.
