Never in 22 years of being involved with the breed. Smallest one I've ever had is 28lbs. Have never seen one personally smaller than that that were 2 years or older. Not that a handful aren't out there somewhere but it's not common at all.

I had two females that were sisters one way 30 pounds the other 32 pounds that's been 25 or 26 years ago. I Have not seen them that small since.

I have seen a bitch open to match at 22lbs. I read about a match between bitches at 18lbs. The smallest you will find will be 25-30lbs like AGK said there not to common. Anything 35lbs and under I consider a small dog. 35lb male would be the perfect dog for me.

Thats crazy how much size difference from the same litter. Your Ebola dog is a beautiful looking dog. What size were the pups of her?

They aren't from the same littler. Billy Bo Bob is from the first time I did that breeding and Ebola and Pumpkin are from a repeat breeding. Ebolas pups are normal size. They're only 12 weeks old so won't know anything size related for a while yet. Billy is the only one out of 8 from Geachison x Lil Miss Geach and all are generally 40 to 45 except the 3 I posted.

I like the small bull dogs the best and them two are some of the finest built small females I have seen in a while, their structure from the pictures look like 35 lb to 38 lb dogs. The smallest ones for me was a male at 25 lb he was out of a out crossed breeding from GR CH COUNTRY and a bitch who also was a out cross that weighed 18 lb from a Colby x Lightner breeding. Both bull dogs were game but other wise useless.

This will give you a better idea of her size. I'm 6' tall and 158lbs. That's my chicken bone around her. My arm is about 3.5 inches wide. Lol she's tiny. I get close up angled shots most times. They usually don't show size very well unless something reconizable is in the pic too to compare size.

Since having those 2 small ones I really like them too. They are easier to handle, shit less, eat less, take up less room. Pumpkin is one of my favorites here. Size, structure and personality wise she is what I would like and entire yard of. It's not likely though since the average of the line is 40 to 46lbs. She looks smashing at 31.5

I'm pretty sure I could get her to 30 if I dried her out. This picture is how I keep her normally. I don't do anything with her but walk her once or twice a week. That's all genetics right there.

People will get upset with my summation but whatever. Game dogs of this size were common in the early part of last century but the APBT is not purely descendent from those dogs. There has been a fair bit of this and that thrown in along the way adding to the gene pool. This is not a bad thing. It is just the reality. The APBT runs bigger on average than the game dogs of the British isles from which it is descendant
There has been some stuff added here and there. Some will say it is better food and better conditions and the wiser will say it is different genes. It is what it is. Not better or worse just different. Just my opinion your's may be different.
