    What is a game dog?
When organized dog fights were legal a PB dog could prove its self game or not
So for most people I guess that’s the true test.
Weight pull people feel that WP is a good way to discover a non quitting dog.
Pig (Hog) hunters and other tough pray feel are a good way to judge the dog .
As much as the word “Game” is thrown around there are other events that might be worth considering.
My white female from youngest age no matter how hot will walk side by side with me mile after mile at her current age I have taken her on 3 + mile bike jogs, put her on a heavy chain tie out, Never seen her hesitate with the unpleasantness.
My Male dog in hot weather 97 degrees after you walk him a ¼ mile he stops sits his ass down like a donkey, you have to drag him, and he will not give in and walk. (is that stubbornness actually a no quitting nature.)Is it a matter of guiding the stubborn quality in the direction one wants?
I had a small 38 pounder who I would take to the beach Sure as I am out in the water there she was braving waves to get out to me, Compared to my male dog at the time that stayed clear of the water.
These things I am seeing might be meaningless as certainly
A dog that refuses to walk in hot weather, might Care less about the heat wile dealing with a hog. But some times the small actions seem important

It's a simple process. It's very much like hopscotch actually, I do it right in front of my house in the cul de sac, I don't even care if the neighbors see how game my dogs are.

You need a piece of chalk, 2 cans of Pringles potato chips, and some blacktop, that's it.

If that dog gets to the end, he game. You think it easy, but go try and eat 2 cans worth of Pringles, it takes heart to eat that many, a lot of dogs can't even eat half a can, those are rough curs.

I tried figuring it out with Chutes and Ladders but the dogs kept eating the players. It's hard in the Post-76 era to find out how game they are.

Does it have to be Pringles? How bout store brand in a tube?
Do you have to do the Pringle game test after they eat there regular meal or on an empty stomach?
    LOL

Only one way to test gameness.Weight pull and hog hunting, walking on a hot day or going swimming are all fine but it's not a game test.Since that's illegal in the USA now,I'm certainly not advising anyone in this country to test a dog but pre 1976 the [] was the only place to find it.
