    That is my mill.
That is a old Red River Curley mill that I did custom work on.
I'm thinking on puting on a hand brake like my Trammell had.
I don't like stopping it with my foot.
There was some well known dog people in that video.
1 was the co-breeder of the mother of Ch. Hagler.
We all know who was sitting down in back LOL and who is by him.

lol.. Yes we know who that is.
I bet a brake would be easier on the ol shoes and knees --bet that dog could wear the shit right out of some sneakers!

Good looking mill though. Saw one about the same down in Mo. I am going to either buy one or get some plans to make my own. People say emills are just fine, but I want a traditional one to put in my garage and have it forever.

I just got a nice old mill, looks pretty similar to that. Mine had some nice Sorrell's dogs on it many years ago.

That is a dream...to have something that someone has used and is proven. Love to own history too!

    LOL
Let me tell you some very well known and proven dogs was used on that mill.
I had to drive deep in the south to get that mill back because all 4 of Ch. Hagler was on it and Keep.
I thought it might be growing roots.
Not only ours but CCM Combine-Honkeyman-Ready to Rumble and many many others.

Why I chose it to keep is because it was simple.
You name them, I have used them.
I like the tension setting on it.
The Trammell which was based after the old Corvino mill hands down the best mill ever built by anyone!
By me reworking this mill, which hadn't been used since the last Bearcat AADR show, it needs some more work done on it to keep it freed up, cleaned and good working order, it ended up better then anything else built of that kind of mill.

Here is Ch. Flash 4xw litter mate to Muhammad Ali and Gr. Ch. Koko starting Keep.
This is a Lemm Bitch's Mill that Maurice owned and let Chicken Sam use and Irving sold it to us and when we told Maurice he said just ago and keep it. It was given free to him and thought we could put it to use. :)

Nice. I had plans for the millmakers but my computer crashed on me yesterday. I have the darn thing in a shop, trying to salvage the things I really need of it. I hope I can get all that stuff of the hard drive. I will be rather pissed if it dont work out. Part of the risk of surfing the net, people can give your computer virus and petty things like this.

I really need to start looking for a mill though. I'd love to have one. My friend Roger may be able to hook me up with one. I'd love to build my own, but it has to be a remake of a good one.
Its always good to get reviews on things like this, before you go buying one.

Bobby give us the blue print to his mills back in the 70's. I still them in a file some where around. It is all hand drawn by him.

I swung by the show grounds for this one on my way up to a buddy's house, but didn't stay long. I only saw a couple people parked outside and a white or fawn colored dog walking out of the building. I stayed by the car with a bitch I had traveling with me while my buddy walked through the building to see what was going on. He came back and said there was nothing happening so we took off since we had to be on our way. Maybe next time.... I'm sure the turn out had to do with other shows going on around the midwest. I talked to a guy that traveled from Jersey for this show for a few.

Show was over by then. You should have came earlier.
But the thing is, people didn't show until right at the start of the show.
I was starting to think almost no one was going to show then they did.
Maybe that was when you came.
BTW the show arena was on the other side of the building.

Well if you talked to the guy from New Jersey then you most likely talked to the guy who won Best of Opposite Sex beacuse that is where he was from.
He like the show and said he will be coming back next year.
You saw the winner of the treadmill race on the video and that was held in the building.
IMO we didn't need the building. It been awhile since we had a show there.
I knew better then to have it in that building because we quit having it in that building with both the Michiana and Bearcat State Shows.
This is why we moved it back to where we had the shows before in the show shelter.
Hell of a lot more shade over there.

There is pics of the show on photobuket somewhere.
