If you guys are looking for an Ed Crenshaw dog then gold dust is one of the last remnants of the blood. I have the tightest Travis blood in existence that I know of anyway. These were some of the last dogs E.C owned and campaigned. These dogs are heavier Reno than Stu Fowler, so it really depends on what strain of the family you are looking for because different hands played a huge roll in what we see today. I've owned/seen different versions and trust me they are different.

If I was just getting started with this family and didn't have the dogs I have today this is the route I would take. First off you don't need a dog with this ped up and down the ped. A quarter of this blood goes a long way...just do your research on the most successful kennels with this blood and their best performance dogs. However, if you're like me and want this to be the base for your yard I would get with Tex Mex and purchase a heavy bimbo male. Then I would seek out the best Bellon Club dog I can find based off their best producing/performance dogs of the stu fowler/red lady cross and purchase another male. The blood is around in Texas and South America but a lot of luck may be needed to attain the right source. Lastly, I would seek out the tightest and most functional dogs I can find heavy off any of these dogs (stu III/stu son/
invader/cujo/gonner/alien-bullshit/Dino etc) and purchase a female from this to take back to the males above. I would line breed of the best performance animals from here. It took me years to get to this point and I'm still learning. So maybe I can save someone a little time but the effort is all on you.

Everyone has their preference as I have a buddy that prefers the paladin with the heavy E.C blood as he was a heavier E.C dog than his papers state. He doesn't sell dogs and nither do I but I figured I'd contribute to this topic as I will always own this particular family.

  8. I guess you have to be an old time Dogman to know this stuff. From my understanding a forfeit was even paid. Which reminds me, i recognize the surname on the first pedigree you posted; this person was mature and professional even when his inquiry into dogs were respectfully declined.

Elias, can you believe that there are some out there who would act childish and make disparaging remarks directed to a WAR HERO and his family when they are told that no dogs are for sale. Isn't that troubling and unbecoming of a Dogman and an American? But i digress.....

I like the bullshit blood and I may try some stu blood if I can get the old man to part with it lmbo but let me be the first to say the bullshit stuff that I saw was just a bulldog no doubt about it had a good disposition to himself very smart dog could easily be a house dog and has a heart as big as Texas and a deep bottom also I was thinking if I got that stu blood I would probably breed them two lines together seeing as how the stu dogs I've seen had really good mouth but needed something else but still I considered them good dogs

Always liked this family, its a real shame they didnt make it to Africa and they are pretty rare bred the right way. Its real nice knowing that they are still around, kept right and doing well. I just love the old rare families but then again I have always liked what very few have.

From what I understand Freedie J. made quit A few breedings out that way! He had access to some of his best. There are some pockets still out there and Mexico.

I also made this breeding and own this litter. They are a very consistent looking and acting bunch of pups. Full of energy and very intelligent.
