Is anyone using Waccamaw blood and producing anything?

    killing field kennels sonny produced some solid dogs that had a signature big john trait of wrecking a hogs rear end
    and driving in soft spots such as the guts in a downwards motion and in circle leaving the hogs helpless...
    This tactic is as rare as a family that produces it consistently and it sonnys style seems pass for couple generations so far...

    Of the RBJ dogs that are still out there the Waccamaw dogs are the most consistent. Mostly because he seldom outcrosses so they stay the same. The nest thing about that 3 way cross is that after all these years it still crosses with anything. Waccamaw dogs can stand alone and be used as a cross or an out.

    Seen a number of good ones crossed with the Mims dogs of late. Red Boy-Snooty-Bolio to Red Boy-Jocko lines up fairly well. The going back to either family will work as well. I'm hoping to land one of these in the next few weeks.

    No, I don't even eat pork lol. (You get the gist) I have dogs from Waccamaw but they're young and I love the way they act. I was just wondering if anybody was using them because I plan to. Him and I have a decent relationship and he's held up on his end as far as been honest about the hounds but I haven't seen anyone post something in years about his line "doing anything" I got a few off of Lil thunder.

    Another question for the seasoned men...I asked about Wacc blood and some sent a ped with some Waccamaw blood in it but how would you be able to determine if it's the Wacc blood or the outcrops? You would just be taking a wild guess, right? I'm only asking because I want to run this line and build on what they did.

    I am worried about performance, I'm also worried about what blood is doing the performance of the job at hand. But I understand what your saying tho..thanks for the advice.

    Ok ,so u do a WAC/Eli cross and just so happens the best dog in the litter is black and shows more said traits towards a Eli Jr dog,your not going to breed this dog back into your WAC dogs ?
