Who is the oldest living dogman with his original line of dogs?? Hint, no it's not Floyd, Tom, Mims. Who is it??

The first dog man that comes to mind is Norrod he got his dogs I think in the early 60's and still has the same bulldogs now with little out cross. If he has a good memory I talked to him one time and it was about a bitch called Klewe's Gold Nugget. I my self still have the same blood I started with from the mid 70's with little out cross.

That's pretty impressive to have the same line from the mid-70s with little out cross or the same line of dogs that's great.

This is a hard question to answer because most of the dog men I have known are either dead or out of the bull dogs but a another dog man comes to mind Vernon Jackson still breeds the same dogs from years ago with little outs when needed and you can still get bull dogs from him. Still thinking.....

 

I started with three pure lines and at one time had 60 bull dogs and was breeding two to three litters a year keeping all nothing left my yard with a big gene pull like that it can be done I have out cross twice once with a bitch I acquired from Garrett her name was Flossie a daughter of Jeep and litter mate to CH. Ranger, CH. Al's Fifty Seven and one other CH. I can't think of right now. You will see her in a lot of pedigrees she was bred to Long's Werdo twice White's Tab and other Jeep studs producing consistent two hour dogs and also some that could close the show quick she was a asset to my dogs. Now at my age I don't keep as many bull dogs but I keep at least twenty of my blood and all through the years and still now buy bull dogs from good breeders. The other out was a bitch I bought from Brantly Miller her name was Bonnie she produced winners for him as I got her as a older bull dog on the advice from my friend M. Gainey she had all of Melvin's best dogs CH. JR, CH. Paladin, Rattler, Deacon, the quarter out was Burn's Stumpy through HOE'S Zeke she was also an asset to my bull dogs.

 

Is Indian Sonny still feeding some? If so he would be in the pack with Jackson. Then there's Mr Bullyson...
