At least the roaches will be safe if they run up in the corner....

I think they have the Ariat boots on our boot truck that comes to the plant.

Let me know how they work.

Comfortable steel toe shoes are hard enough find, and I have flat feet, so when I find a a pair that works I have to hold on to them.

    Hopefully they work out.

A great pair of boots and last forever. I've had my pair for 3 years and we get a boot allowance every year.

Our shoes have to have chemical resistance as well as steel toes.

Our show truck will deliver an awesome pair of boots and then they are discontinued. It is like I never can get the same boot twice.

Rolling the bottoms of your feet on some PVC pipe should help correct flat feet. It hurts at first but is worth the pain.

I'm so damn sick of buying shit for shoes. I never thought game dog would convince me to finally stop being a cheapskate and buy a nice pair of boots, but it's time!

ive never had slip on work boots.
i always seem to go for the cheapest in store kind of work boots.
they almost always work for me though.
i can remember 1 pair of boots where i kicked through the rubber sole and through the metal inlay.
i was just glad i found out before i kicked my shovel again hahahaha.

Our boot truck delivered yesterday and Ariat is one of the brands they carry now.

Several got slip on boots with a composite toe. Ours have to be chemical resistant also. I think the particular model was called a Workhog.

Our operators have to crawl under a decking to check/clean a conveyor several times per shift. The boots with a 'leather' toe do not last as long as they get a hole worn in them at the toe. We have a lot of boots that are perfect other than the toe but based on the chemicals have to be replaced.

Yesterday I heard no complaints for the first 12 hours of life on shift for the Ariats.

    No complaints here either.

And for us that means they will drop this line of boots within the next two trips.

    It is almost an absolute.
