I think it's his short muzzle that makes him look that way. Kinda reminds me of jessie rods gr ch midnight.

  3. Staff bull head?.I see what your getting at.,maybe this was more of the old Bulldog head?
Some strains came from different parts of Britain,Staffordshire being one them parts..
Dibo,Midnight,Banjo,Zebo, and few others got short strong body's with that shorter muzzled head,...a lot of strains in Staffordshire may well have been on this frame...and when they started to show them under kennel club rules ,,this shape seemed to be a favourite,so was exaggerated(by show breeders).

    Hope that makes sense?

Do alot of this line carry these head types is it the midnight line carry this head type I've Hurd people say this line bites like a shark I've seen on videos some game inbred game dogs look like little black Bulldogs perhaps alot of inbreeding is bringing out the bulldog has anyone one got pics of the vengeance blood and midnight blood

  5. I'm not sure.but it seems likely them lines will throw heads like that,I would of thought?...

Has anyone got any thoughts or preferences to a certain shape of head?..I mean can a shorter muzzle dog bite harder then a longer muzzle dog with less stop?..
Is it a matter of preference with any breeders?,or is this ever looked for?..dose it matter?.I mean I suppose some short muzzle dogs can bite harder then some long muzzle dogs, and vice vercer..
Maybe it's got nothing to do with its muzzle length?.and hard mouths are bread in the line?
I'm gonna shut up now..as this threads not about bite lol..sorry.

I like a snippier dog. More narrow snout with wider jaws.
I'm not fan of big block head. But I do know difference can do with the weight at which one applies pressure and the angle. Thus bringing different mouth styles into the game.
A dog that is to grab a rabbit sofly..or hang onto a deer or bull with all it's might.
Also have read that shorter muzzle means less air and such.
    It all about what.you after..
    Just some.thought .

  7. I've never give it much thought...but now I think,I do like the more pointed muzzel.with little stop...not saying that type of muzzle is a harder biter whatsoever here,,just that I seen a beast once with that sort of muzzle what could really bite,,so maybe that's why I like it now I think?.....but I doubt it had anything to do with the shape of his muzzle to be honest..with you saying a shorter muzzle means less air,I'm not so sure that's true.especially a short muzzle with these dogs.maybe a exaggerated short muzzle though, like in a show bulldog....but this rather long muzzle dog im talking about could really breath well.

Was there a rumour or a myth that black imported Staffordshire bull terriers was put in the midnight line

  11. There was a myth like that about some dog...but I don't wreckon.
I think some of the first imports from UK to the state's came from Staffordshire, but came from all over the UK and Ireland aswell...
I don't think any Staffordshire bull Terriers as in show dogs would of been bread into American game dog lines in more recent times tho,as in i don't think Tudor imported dogs from Staffordshire in the 1950s so the myths say.but if he did import dogs from Staffordshire to breed in to his own dogs.,one things certain and that is they would not of been show Staffordshire bull Terriers.

I always said he was ugly as hell, and was even uglier in person, but was solid as a rock.
