My Jack Russell's will eat out of the same bowl but you throw some Pro Plan in the bowl anf they will try and kill each other.Dogs love this shit and very little shit to clean up.I buy them a bag every so often for a treat.I been feeding Victor again mostly except for occasional bag of Pro Plan.

I'll share this here also since nobody reply.
I fed Purina Manny years ago. Not pro plan.
I do know that it can make them perform.
A few years back there was a flashy brindly bitch named Gucci. She was fed this. She was a top placing dog in the wall climb. Pissed a lot of people off and I loved it. She was a u papered dog.fixed and allowed to participate in ADBA as she was altered.
    She was a bad ass.
Anyway. I noticed that you said you feed Victory.i feed diamond naturals.

Though I feed some raw in winter..it always chaps my ass that people think their dogs are better simply off a bloodline, or a diet alone. Most of us know better.
I don't try to force my ways on anyone. I'm humble and remain true to my decision to feed kibble vs raw due to some issue I had.
I have fed most of the good ones at one point or another..and. have always used raw at times but not as a main staple. If it was more plausabke..like I had a deep freezer and room and mo ey to store and keep lots of meats .it be different..but I'm a "sub-urban dogger" .
Half city and half country.id like to be more country again...and life may change a bit.
Even animals have seasons..like rabbit and squirrel..and such. For various reasons.
Chicken season is all season. And the conditions they live in..well the store bought ones..are sub par. I can't support that mass production. I'd rather see our country more localized..self sufficient..than to go to Walmart..but in reality. Walmat is five minutes away...and the cost of quality means nothing anymore..
Good review on the Purina pro...gotta be like them crispy cream doughnuts..lol

Aint gonna lie, Bama, when I was doing research on getting my male's sperm in better condition I kept coming across people saying they fed Pro Plan. I recalled our convos and you saying you switched to it. I was curious so I looked it up. Price was high but I was still interested. I looked at ingredient list and saw corn or corn "something". At that point I quit considering it. Is that true, does it have corn in it?

It does Treez but I don't understand how it works in Pro Plan but it does. All my dogs love it and no loose stools and small amounts of shit. They digest it very well .I read all the reviews and heard all the talk but the Pro Plan is good bro.

There is a factory near..said to make sky blue vodka..well. they cook the corn and get the good stuff(for alcohol) out and are said to sell the slip or used mash if you will to dog food companies or farmers that feed to livestock. I wonder if this may be a possible difference. Maybe how they prepare or cook also.

Just like many of the ol timers fed ol Roy or such bargain corn feeds, most of us feed grain free kibble. I do know of a few that don't and they never complain about it. Interesting.

Got a pic of a prominent breeding holding 2 pups with his used car salesman grin with 2 bags of ol roy high pro behind them.... it's a VERY recent pic...

Knew someone who used pro plan in keeps with success. They also used victor in keeps at times. They gave me the best advice ever "pick what you pick and tell everyone else to shut the fuck up. " What anyone feeds is up the them their wallet and their dogs. Good point with the ole roy or worse

I’ve never tried Purina anything before, let alone Pro Plan. In my local stores there’s so much space dedicated to cat food and only a tiny space for dog food. But I have seen Purina Pro Plan, specifically the chicken variety for medium dogs recently. I thought I might give it a try based on there being less shit to clean up! Lol.

Next bag I buy will be the pro plan. Winter is Coming and 15% fat content will help them thicken up a bit to keep warmer in the cold weather.

I have not fed this in the winter .My first season .I don't know where you from or the temps it gets but look and see and adjust accordingly .I am in south Alabam so our winters aren't extreme but it does get cold some days.

You just have to read your dogs and if they need more fat then add it.

I like the southern accent on a woman. Dunno why but it just sounds sexy ha. A bit off topic. But yeah the dogs always get some raw chicken quarters on top of the kibble, I buy frozen from the store and defrost the day before feeding. Also each kennel has a heater so although it’s pretty cold it rarely drops below freezing.

This is where food is developed for Purina. Purina developes food for many animals including canines.
There is a list of ingredients that they say is the optimum for canine health. Looks like shit to me . IDK
