What color was Chan's Floyd?

OK, this is another goofy art geek thing to ask, but what color was Chan's Floyd? I only had seen black and white shots of him in the SDJ and always assumed he was yellow because he greatly resembled Jeep. All of the color shots of him online look red (well, reddish yellow).

I always thought he was red based on the most common picture of him, although he does look more buckskin or fawn in some of the pictures. They can look very different in different light.

Ide call it buckskin....
but are not buckskin,red,fawn, just diffrent shades of the same colour anyways?

And the light on some pics can confuse things to.....witch dont help lol.

Hey i read this funny thing once and it said Colbys Goldy(who seems to be like a colour were talking)was red merl...
lol who ever come up with this was convinced because of a few blotches on a very old black and white pic of JP,a very young Louis,sitting with pregnant Goldy.....

Dont no why i just said that. but pictures can be of with colour sometimes.

i thought fawn was yellow with black highlights.
and i thought buckskin was fawn with red highlights.

Anyways there just red lol.
