Just curious to know how many of you make your home on a farm?
What are your opinions of how bulldogs fit in on the farm.
I snapped a quick pick of my two sparring, and entertaining me and the horses. Makes me thank God I’m blessed enough to enjoy moments just like this one.

I don’t think it’s much of an issue if they are brought up around livestock, especially large ones like cows and horses. All of my dogs have had to learn the hard way that a horse bites harder than any dog and their hooves will break any bone they kick squarely. Thank god none of them have suffered sever injuries but bad enough they give the utmost respect when around them.

now, my bulldogs have even taken a protective attitude towards the horses. Coyotes, opossum, coins, and especially other dogs that enter the pasture better be willing to give their lives.

we also do a lot of trail riding with another couple and all 5 of our bulldogs follow without issue. I will admit I did worry about meeting another group of riders on the trail, especially if they had dogs , but their intense focus while running alongside the group seems to give them tunnel vision. While in camp of course they happily greet all the campers as if they’ve known them forever and usually win over the hearts of the other folks in camp the first day. If their are other dogs in camp is when we have to tether them.

Yes, they are all APBT’s. The couple we ride with have a couple Eli bred dogs and one that is similar to ours, jocks, red boy lines. They have never gotten into any trouble with one another while they are working. Ocassionaly their oldest female puts their youngest in his place.

Well damn... I wouldn’t dare try this. I got 2 female pups that are about 1.5yrs that get along. This is the first time I’ve been able to do this and I’m watching the clock count down on what could be a time bomb. In the next month they will be separated for my peace of mind. Good luck with your search
