    SOME HISTORY ABOUT BINGO DOGS
As most people think, Bingo is not a two time winner. He is a one time winner, who won and showed game in a match that people didn't think that he had any chance of winning.
Bingo has produced at least 3 Register of Merit dogs. These dogs are WCC's DEACON, Crenshaw's HUNTER RED, and Bailey's REDAPE. Although the SDJ does not recognize BINGO as an ROM dog, the majority of the people that bred to Bingo knows that he would have easily made the ROM list.

Yes mate, and it was one they considered impossible to beat.. Heard from an old timer Bailey's Cherry produced a lot of the traits that Deacon bred dogs was known for.. Can't help noticing Marlowe's Brandy Girl significance in both pedigrees, but maybe that's just me seeing what I want to see again?

I think the Brandy Girl is there as well.

Bingo thru some dogs that went on to throw some dogs when in turn thru some more dogs. Big fan.

Funny how things work. I had one super inbred on Red Boy, with a lot of Bingo/Deacon. This dog was maybe 7/8th's Red Boy and maybe an 1/8th or so of Snooty. As a young dog he was long and spindly and looked like he would turn out as an overly inbred Red Boy dog. Then at around 14 months he started to fill out and ended up being a really good looking red/red nose Red Boy dog.

The original plan was for him to be a stud/brood dog kept at a friend's house for future use. We gave him a little bump and he performed nicely. We upped the ante and he again held true to his family traits of screaming and scratching. He had one exception tho, he could absolutely bite shit in half.

The plan was altered and we decided to take him out once, and if he won and bred like that, he would be worth his weight in gold.

There was a big time kennel near here that told me if I we were going to breed to him, then breed to him, but not to keep trying him as that strain of Bingo/Deacon bred dogs were hanging it up at an unusually high percentage. They would produce but he would not keep sending him into the deep water.

I did not listen and he was right. He quit rank. I mean he went from superb to walk away, wall crawler in a blink of the eye.

It did not deter me from the Red Boy family, just fine tuned a little away from the Bingo/Deacon strain.

And then went to the western part of the state and bet against one. We won earlier in the night, but I had to give some back on the bad investment of doubting the Deacon dog at the show.

    But so it goes.

I know he had problems with the law as well as a lot of personal stuff going on mate.. All I can say is wish I'd known about him mid 80's coz my yard would have been full of Bingo/Deacon/Cherry/Redboy blood.

Tater was just as well bred and he produced consistently well when bred to other gyps.

Looking back at it now I wish we would have Bought more dogs from David Tant. It was like a year or year and a 1/2 that Mr Tant Trouble begin with a Booby trapped shotgun on the property that shot a railroad Surveyor. You just never know Get what you can when you can.
