and @ Lrs....before 1973 you could keep any wild beast.a wild animals act came in in 1973.
but lol..and i really belive this either.but a few months ago the law on that act was changed!
ok.admittidly you cant keep a bear or tiger like you could pre 73.but if you own your own place you get asessd and you can keep something like a Alligater or a Lynk.

I find this a baffleing thing in a country what goes on so much about animal crulty..
cant course a Hare like,but you can keep a wild alligater in your bath tub!

You can apply for a permanence to keep Tigers or Bears.Here in South Carolina or Georgia.
