Who is your favorite Champion or Grand Champion dog of the past and why, share with us what made this dog special to you.

For me it has to be Gr.Ch. Buck because for me he showed that gameness can at times count more than a hard mouth or a bigger dog and much more so then the untested hard hitting quick finish dogs that seem so popular today. Buck was a true Gr.Ch. and deserves to be remembered as one of the best.

  2. Adams' Gr Ch Zebo ROM. One of mostly devasting dogs of the bulldog history. He got the 3 greatest honors, ROM, Gr Ch and member of Bulldog Hall of Fame.

And was a great producer too.

Was a dog that had some temperament problems? Yes, but it can't take his merits off him... a great dog and one of the bests I've been notice...

  3. My favs are

    Crenshaws - Ch. Rascal
    Snakeman's - Gr. Ch. Pedro

Those are my two fav dogs of all time without a dought. I love that they are naturally winded & have hard mouths. Also in breeding that particular line they also poses intelegence extremely smart dogs & very tactical.

Ill name a few because I cant narrow them down.

Gr Ch. Boomerang- He won 5, 3 BIS, first SDJ GR CH.
His longest show went 55 against Teals Tramp and he was a good producer.

    Ch. HoneyBunch

Gr CH Art.- One of the most notorious killers that saw a [] and he produced fairly well.

Mountain Mans Ch. Homer- Great all around dog with the mouth of an alligator. He showed to be a very game dog going at 46lbs when he was never matched over 43 lbs and taking over 2 hrs to kill his opponent

Gr Ch. Shady Lady- She wasnt a famous producer, but she was a very talented hard mouth dog.

I'm with Jeep on this one, Homer is my fav. Any dog who can be compared to Zebo for a hard mouth is impressive. I did not know he had that kind of endurance until reading Jeeps post, so I will add that to be impressed with by Homer and Lester!!!!!:)

I know how you love your bulldogs (from reading your posts on other threads) so feel free to list all your favorites and what made you like them so much.

  13. I'm not doing that.. it should takes all night...

Well, some dogs that wasn't told yet:

STEPP'S GR. CH. ANGUS - one of the greatests performer, recognized as Champion of Champions.

INDIAN BOLIO ROM - need to say anything? He was bred by a Klaus. One of the greatests producer and performer.

DEAD SERIOUS KENNELS' CH. EL DIABLO NEGRO - Great and trully finisher.

TUDOR'S DIBO - Great producer, he sired, for example:
    Carver's Cracker
    Crenshaw's Buck
    Tudor's White Rock 4xW
    Tudor's Spike 4xW
    Tudor's Jeff 3xW

    Trahan's Blackie 3xW
    Start (Haye's) Cry Baby 4xW
    Boudreaux' Blind Billy
    McCraw's Snowball

    Harrel's Topper 5xW
    Heinzl's Polly
    Edward's Sam

KLAUS' ZEKE - Great performer and sired no one less than Indian Bolio ROM. As Eddie Klaus himself ever told "Zeke was a very talented dog." I believe that Zeke wasn't more recognized as the great pit dog that he was, because he sired Bolio.

    K. ALLEN'S DBL GR. CH. TORNADO - this bitch was the first Double Gr Ch of the pit history, she was 10xW.

STEPP'S WILLIE - Great performer devastating dog. Son of Adams' Zebo ROM.

... AND THE LIST GOES ON...

I love dogs that are destroyers, that can get it done in a short time, but they seem to only come around every blue moon, only to keep you chasing after another one... 1 wish,. that the good Lord would bless every dogman with just one in their lifetime.Oh yeah how was he bred. Thanks
