  2. Well I can assure you I for one would not be taking any chances. Yes make the dog throw it up.

I went ahead and did the peroxide. It was only a small amount, even for humans, but better safe than sorry. Thanks.

If you are talking about the pet poison control center, there is a $35 fee now because it is not funded by anyone other than ple who call in. My vet used to answer calls like this for me, but now refers everyone with a ? to them.

^ actually, i think the fee is up to 50.00 now....

anyhow, Cytomel is actually a medicine that is used for dogs with thyoid problems.
'Thyrolar and Cytomel are other supplements that contain T3, for those dogs that continue to have problems despite normal T4 and TSH values'.
so, granted, while it's not somthing that was prescribed to your dog for specific thyroid issues, he/she should be ok. how much was ingested? (j/c, the enitre bottle?)

here is are 2 helpful links. one that specifically relates to this and the other for future reference

and the following is a good one to keep handy=will/might save you that 50.00 fee

I knew that some dogs are treated for Thyroid problems and really didn't think much of it at first, but decided to have it come up anyway. It was only one tablet, 25 MG, and that's exactly the reason I'm on it is because I'm still having problems on other types like Levoxyl and Levithroid. Thanks Suki. ;)
