I work both, Patterdale Terriers and APBTs and some mixes between them. None of my PTs is a bayer, they all try to kill the quarry. Also I have lost 2 APBTs and one 50% APBT after a kennel accident with a smaller PT.

Snake if i'm reading this right you lost a pit to a patt in a kennel accident.Even if you had the biggest cur pit that's hard to believe a 15lb dog kills a 50lb cur bulldog.Maybe I read it wrong.

Maybe it wasn't a 50 pound cur bulldog

The way I read it, he had more aggression in his pure patterdales than he had in crossbred dogs, and lost a couple of them....

It was a 26lbs PT female and the APBT females has had about 45lbs. But it wasn't the weight that was important. The PT female was 3 years old, the APBT females were 12 and 14 years old. ...By the way, my Patterdales are out of ancestors who were used for european badgers. They are much bigger and stronger than the small type who is only for fox.

I really like those little patts, when I get into a bigger yard I might have to get myself one someday to get to see what they are about first hand, beautiful dogs you have SnakeW.

    Thanx, ...AGK.
But the male on the last pic isn't my dog.
He is only from my breeding.
My kennel stud is very special. His blood runs in every breeding I have made in the last 4 years.
Here is a pic of him.
