Dumbest stuff you've heard

Ok Im piggy backing off another thread but whats the dumbest stuff you've heard from pitbull owners who have no clue about the breed? I'll start by saying here in louisiana if you have a pitbull with no papers its always a gator/boudreaux cross. Didnt know boudreaux was a dog and arent there more than one gator! I went to guys house that stayed around the corner from me and his yard caught my attention because he had so many dogs at least 12. I stopped and started talking to him and asked what blood was that he's running. He said boudreaux/gator. When i told him that boudreaux was a man and not a dog he had a look of disturbance on his face that was priceless. He looked like everything he thought he knew was washed down the drain. Sad thing is again he had a yard full of what he thought was boudreaux/gator. Another dumb thing i heard someone say is when i had this little buckskin frisco male. A guy told me he's never seen a buckskin frisco dog and was i sure he was frisco. I was like this is crazy. I couldnt have a decent conversation with this guy. I also heard a guy tell me you know what you have in the first couple of months, referring to how your dog will turn out. I had to laugh first and i responded by saying i know what i have as soon as i see it. Its a dog! The funny thing is some of these guys live by these beliefs. A dogman about a dollar would rob these guys of money but i dont. The crazy thing is they all think around my area that im real snooty and uppity because i never want to bring my dogs around theirs when they feel like hunting but i would look at myself as less of a man to take my dogs in the woods the same time theirs were there. I know you guys have some funny stories too so come on share them. Keep the laughs coming

 

The most priceless converstation i had was some who commented on a pic of 2 of my apbts on facebook. He was basically advertising his pups for sale on my page. To make a long story short he has some "BLUE KILLERS". He stated he ould put his female against anything i could find. 70lb MOPONSTER!!! I said lemme guess, Razor Edge or Gotti? He said yeah RE. I put a link for him to do a little reading on gotti and left it alone. The next day he deleted all his comments off my page

 

Gameexchange, I couldn't help but chuckle when I read your thread. I'm right up the way from you and I've heard and seen idiots talkin about their gator/boodrow crosses. Also I hear of The "Black Widow" usually crossed with red-nose. The numbskulls had no idea that Black Widow was a real dog who lived a long, long, time ago. I know Gaboon Trahan owned her in Lafayette,La. Also colby/gator which sounded interesting as I know a lot of Gator's who were good ones so I ask did they have the papers on it as I'd like to see them, and they said no they needed to go to the VETERINARIAN'S and get them. Needless to say I tried to educate them as best I could and the look on their face was priceless. People getting dumb and dumber every 10 years or so I think. Oh yeah , they said their dog was Black Widow bloodline cause of the spots on its belly. WTFE:p

 

lol. thats funny c-murda. Its funny, sad, and true all in the same breath. i heard you should put your dogs on a ramen noodle diet before taking them in the woods as far as the keep goes. Im like why would you load your dog up with sodium before hunting? That makes no sense.

 

I've been asked a couple times if he is a red nose.

 

At least sometimes people will reason with you when you tell them they are wrong.

Ok this is really hard to believe , when my american bulldog was about six months old a bloke aproached me and said thats a really big staff mate , befor i could reply he said its one of those blues isnt it i know all about them and winked then walked off leaving me speechless , my dog was white with brindle patches :confused::confused::confused:

 

I live in southeastern ky and I can't tell you how many people around here that have 70-90 pound un-papered dogs and the funny thing is their all heinzl! I tried to talk to the people but you can't talk to them so I just keep me and my dogs to myself.

 

haha (bringbackup)had some junkie ask me was my rednose a bluenose???wtf although he seemed to know his stuff as he told me if a pitbull has four white paws it's from champion bloodlines.........

Anyone ever mention a pedigree and the only thing bout a pedigree they know about is it's in a yellow bag in the grocery store. I asked some numbskull about the pedigree on his dogs and he responded, "I don't feed that Pedigree. I tried feeding it and the dogs didn't do too well". I said not that Pedigree,. The pedigree is the lineage of your dog. It's family tree. I received a blank stare. I hate to judge people so I just keep it movin when I encounter ignoramuses.

I hear ya! I avoid the petbull owners as well.A vast majority of em are just dumb as f*ck.

 

A friend of a friend i heard used to breed "pitbulls" for a while and a few fellas that i know had recommended him when i was looking for a dog, few guys were saying these were the best "pitbulls" in the state and i would be silly to pass up a look at the dam and sire and the next litter on the ground. we went out to have a look and i was greeted at the gate by two 140 pound drooling monsters that could eat a small horse and its rider as chew toy. it looked like a bulldog had the muscle definition of a bulldog, but dribbled like a mastiff. on talking to the guy he explained that after ten years of breeding he had infact bred the "perfect pitbull". on explaining that his dogs were infact crossbred mongrels, and i was after a purebred game bred dog he told me that those dogs aint shit and his dogs would tear them in two. i said its hardly fair putting a dog of that size onto a dog more than two thirds lighter against each other
and that im sure his dogs would lack any wind or gameness. i was swiftly kicked off his yard and my friend that took me there copped a serving from him for bringing such a clueless idiot to his place. i even copped it down the track once i got my dog from my mentor and they saw the size of it , friend couldnt believe i went and got a rednosed staffy instead of a real pitbull.

I 2nd the louisiana thing there are several unpapered mangie boudreaux dogs in my area their owners always want to stop and talk about how much they've been offered for stud fee in the "thousands " of course

 

i asked a dude one time "wat bloodline did he have"?...he said tiger stripe!!!.....lmao!!!...and was dead serious when he said it!!!

 

i thought boudreaux (i know it floyds last name!) was just another name for the eli blood? like when they referred to theyre dog as that? cuz ive heard people mention it too, but i always just tooka it as they were talkin bout eli dogs.

 

my vet told me pitbulls were not a breed...
