my old dog..game bred but was 70lbs not fat got into it with a coyote when I lived in Golden he fled lol. The guy I got him from had about 40 dogs on the eastern plains and a coyote in heat would try to lure a male to her and the others would jump the dog. One day he said he woke up to coyot heads spines tails etc scattered all over. This guys dogs were all over 60 lbs big dogs for sure. They r a real poblem in Colorado spread disease one attacked a kid this year. They walk down the main streets around hear they need some culling...not my opinion DOW's

In Cali using bait is illegal. As far as keeping hides i believe you need a trappers lisence. Most hides out here arent any good though and a lot of the times they have mange or something else going on with them.

I was wrong about needing a license to keep them you just need one to sell the hides.

No more than they would bring anymore, they're not really worth skinning even if it was a good hide. The AR groups killed the fur prices years ago, back when I was a kid,me and dad would coon hunt and a good coon hide would bring $40,that was middle to late 1980's,now a coon hide brings $3-$6 so there's really no point in messing with hides anymore.:(

  9. tosas akitas basically all foreign dogs are curs..they are bred to fight but a different kind of fight ..they are slashers and the fights are real short...a good seasoned apbt would defeat a top of the line tosa etc no problem...its very well documented

    Hey guys!

For starters, as much as an athlete the APBT is, the truth is that APBTs do NOT have the potential to "defeat", let alone kill a fully grown alpha-male WILD Wolf. In the wild, the APBT has little to no chance at all. A Wolf in captivity in such that its abilities and aggression have been negated, is a different story.

The physical data on Wolves, considerably surpass that of an APBT; Stamina, size dominance and speed. Wolves, just like big cats, usually attack the windpipe area to control their victim in such that their primary goal is to kill. Direct access to the windpipe would not be hard for the Wolf to achieve in such a match-up. Based on physical data alone, the Wolf is superior to the APBT, it would take little effort for a 140lb Wolf to throw the Pitbull to the ground and sink its teeth around the windpipe. Lets not also forget that Wolves can be FAR more aggressive than that of a Pitbull.

    Cheers.
