BAD NEWS- Govt seized Pat Patricks home today

Well i've had a quick scout on google and has yet have found jack shit!!! He was aquitted on the criminal charges so he would'nt have lost his house due to proceeds of crime etc . As for a civil case he would have most likely lost the house due to default on a mortgage ,which i cant see him having one as for the years he has made a living selling pups. I to would like to see the proof if anyone has any links

 

yeha i looked last night and didnt see a thing, hopefully by the time i get outta class someone has the info...

 

x2, before we go nut over this lets see some proof of this.........

 

because in criminal court there is a higher standard set to find someone guilty, but in civil court they have what is called preponderance of the evidence, which is basically having just enough evidence to prove your point there may be doubts but doubts only matter in criminal cases

 

but the state cant take him to criminal court can they? i thought that was for people or like a business.

 

Where did this come from? We havent heard anything and Pat doesnt own anything to take. The civil suit was not against him.

it goes like this. if your arrested on criminal charges you face doing time and paying fines. if your sued in a civil case you cant go to jail but you can be forced to pay fine/restitution . Alot of times they dont even allow you to bring up weather you were found guilty or innocent in the criminal case when your being sued in civil court .now if you lose a civil case and you have assetes they can be siezed in most cases if you o not have the money to pay for it. ive had a few dealings with the law myself to know this to be the case...
