Daily heartworm

    I give my girl the dimitrol daily heartworm tablets, and always have but never every day. i dont think they really need it all that much, tho just wondering if its still needed during winter, i live in Australia so our winters are not as cold but still the larvae couldn't survive,

    Anyone else use daily heartworm??

    Diethylcarbamazine is a daily heartworm preventative. But here in the US as far as I know it is not used anymore. Now with all the monthly heartworm preventative available.

    I am not familiar with Australia and there climate and what is the best advice to give. Is heartgard, interceptor not available over there?
