I hope everyone takes the time to read this. I've owned pitbulls for 13 years. I appreciate the ability, heart, and loyalty in the breed. I have done research over the years as every dog owner should with any other breed of dog or cat. Knowledge of a breed does not mean anything more than that. Where I'm getting at is, knowledge doesn't mean it's being used in a negative way.

    Cutting straight to the chase:
    I enrolled on a forum.
    W/ no pit talk
    Very professional
Encouraged positive threads on the breed
    Know what I'm talking about
and have very nice bred dogs (not bragging)

Not long after (keep in mind I never sold a pup or dog or conducted any business with anyone):

Received a visit from someone from another state inquiring about my dogs. Now this wasn't some "hey, I see you got dogs, I do to" meeting. This was some I was just driving buy in this town nobody knows about, noticed your dogs in the back where you could hardly see them in the BACK of 2 acres, knocking on the door. Of course, I thought what the hell? My dogs are not marked from fighting and are taken care of very well. So I let him back to show how well they were. He was wanting to know bloodlines. I'm not sure exactly where he was going but I had an idea.

    My point:

Forums are great place to network, learn, and help one another. Heck, I saved a whole litter and a female from peoples great advice, so I am totally ok with forums.
Ladies and Gentlemen, please conduct yourself on these forums very professional and aware at all times. There are people out to hurt our breed and will use whatever avenue "forums" to get what they want and WILL COME KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR.

I can't keep it any more real than that.

I would never let a stranger on my yard. Then I would be sure to remind him they will eat him if he goes back there.

Nobody could walk out alive with one of my dogs. Please believe, it's like that. This happened over a year ago and I have never, ever had a dog/pup stolen from me in my 13 yrs of having dogs. LOL!! I'm sorry you guys have to worry about that kinda thing.

Due to the stupidity I read on hear, I thought I'd let the pit talkers know they are not invinsible.
