I had this product brought to my attention by forum member old goat on another thread, possibly as a replacement (and upgrade) for Clovite in my daily feed routine. I've been reading up on this stuff and it sounds pretty much like goddamn jet fuel, steroids, moonshine and liquid cocaine all rolled into one it's so awesome. I am on the verge of ordering up a tub of it, but was curious as to whether any of you use or have used this in the past, and your thoughts on it from that experience. The good, the bad, the ugly, what do yall have to say about K9 Show Stopper?

I never used it but I know someone that did and her dogs gained weight. You can see from the ingredients its 50% fat. So just be aware of how much you give and how much exercise the dogs get.

I use it when I can afford to and love it. It really gives them a good shiny coat and loads of energy. I feed the TOTW and supplement with the showstopper those that I currently show.

Is it comparable in its use to rf1 or peak.

scratch is right it is very fattening ... i dont give close to the recommended amount .. i feed totw which is a quality feed so i just throw a bunch of scoops of the showstopper on top of the food that i keep in a big container and shake it up. i have to say even though i use it sparingly it really does give an extra shine to my dogs coat. also my lab would get soars in his groin area during spring but once i started show stopper the pretty much stoppped showing up and when they did it was nothing like before. i like the product but would do a trial and error on the amount given.... Irk i think k9 superfuel made by the same company is what you are thinking of.

I used the puppy version of it back in January when I rescued a Rott puppy. Now this puppy had a heart murmur when I got him and the supplement has two things in it that are suppose to help with murmurs so I figured why not, what do I have to lose? I got the small container of it from Petco and it didn't even last me two weeks and it was really expensive. I didn't notice any difference in the pup and got another container of it to give it more time, but the pup ended up having heart failure and dying. It's not the miracle powder I was hoping for, but I do think it would be good to add to any dogs diet.
