Did you look at the size of the basic DT? Theres a basic kit starting at 600 and basic assembled for 800. That is before shipping. They start at 10"x24" that may be too small for an apbt.

However I have a dogtrotter and a RRC... cant say anything bad about either i love how the dt has wheels and doesnt take up much space and is real quiet unlike the rrc. and of course made in the USA by great people! cant hate on the rrc tho, it is mr reliable 40 year old freighttrain. love that thing.

I dont know who you are using to ship but most want 5 bill just to do a coast to coast run. PER MILL!! I dont know where some of you guys come up with your prices but in the real world shiping will cost all most as much as the damn mill. Hell it cost 300 to go to miss fro Fla and that was with a buddy, I cant even think how much it would be to the states from the isl. Pluse he has to creat them (That shit takes time and money in shit to build the creats. NOTHING is cheap in mills it all cost a lot.

Its about 300 for them to ship by sea to the states, a little over 500 to ship air I believe.

I brought a slat mill in 1999 build by a guy name M. George from N.C. haven't had any problem with it at all. Price $500.00
don't know if he is still around. I got my money's worth and some. Just look around.

Just remember a mill is simply a tool, don't put too much emphasis on that versus what it accomplishes. A good eye reading your dog is WAY more important than which mill you use. I had used mills for over 40 years before I retired, and put wins on some of "those famous dogs" a lot of youall talk about, from :6 minutes to over 4 hours and Pre-keeped the dog that went 5 Hours thirty some minutes. The mill is only ONE part of the equation, and if you don't have an experienced eye, the most expensive mill in the world is not going to make you a winner. My suggestion is get a simple carpet mill, a functional slat mill, and learn to OBSERVE your dog, learn how to peak and point him. I guarantee you can't do that without practice. Just my two cents earned over 4 decades. Oh yeah, remember to shape the RIGHT dog, lol.

I bet it cost at least 100$ extra in shit juSt to creat one, ThEN TO GO OVer seas You have to take it to a port or pay some one to do it!! I was just looking at some wood yesterday and I was like ''WTF is this?''. Prices are ridiculous right now. ~$13 for a sheet of ply? I remember a few years ago when I built some stuff it was like $5.

This was the quote from RPmillmaker in the Philippines. 300 some odd dollars to ship sea freight to nearest port, time arrival estimation like 3 weeks. Air freight was quoted around 4 to 5 hundred.

I think the difference in shipping may come from the packaging , i know RPMillmaker ships his in like a flatpack so you can assemble it when you get it . Since its flat you can use less place on the boat/plane . On UPS/Fedex the dimensions of the package (also weight) are the difference between Freight and regular delivery . Triple J have you thought of using foam and covering with heavy duty shrink wrap ? im sure it would be less than plywood box and saving a lot in weight and should cut down the shipping price
