Take a look at this!

this pic was captured by a trail cam 15 miles west of my farm :eek:
ive tracked Mountain Lions behind the farm on several different occasions starting in the winter of '03, but ive never seen one in person.....yet. THIS is why i pack a rifle when i go down to burn garbage....

I saw this picture earlier on my facebook page ,,it was posted by legendary whitetails...Lee 15 miles is too close for me man..I have had more than 1 panther closer than that at my place.Never heard a mountain lion scream but if its anything like a panther its the scariest shit I ever heard.Wake everything up within 5 miles.

I have been stalked twice by a panther while hunting ,,its freaky as hell..You ever get to a point were the birds quit singing and everything gets real quiet ..you better turn around and check whats behind you..thats the truth!3rd incident I had I was hunting and sat down under a tree to rest was there about 15 mins ,heard some noise and looked over to my right and thier is a panther coming out of a tree bout 30 yds from where I am resting..I have had them come right through my yard..use to be a female panther travel through on my land she would have her babies in a woodpile bout 2 miles from my backdoor in the woods..I would watch them and the babies would come out and play.it was pretty cool to watch.I could have killed my first big cat when I was about 11yrs old had a 12 gauge with buck shot loaded and I let him go..We made eye contact and slowly veered off to the right real slow casual pace..He was not scared at all ..for that i couldnt shoot him.That was the first stalking incident lol.

I knew a guy that had one as a pet. My boss took me to his place of buisness to have a meeting with the guy and they let it out of the room that it was in behind the couch i was sitting on. At the time i was oblivious of this big ass cat he had. That cougar, panther, mountain lion whatever you call em came up to me and scared the s_ _ _ out of me. All it did was rub against me like a cat and wanted me to rub his ears of course.

...i meet an old guy not too long ago and he had a pic in his house of him n what I thought was a big ass dog...i was there on business so I didnt want to stare at the pic in the mans china cabinet laughn but we startd tlkn n I askd abt the "dog" in the pic n he laughed n said fool thats a mountain lion... He got the pic out, showed me n proceeded to tell me how back in 65 he was up north n some indians sold him a kitten for 5 dollars... It wasnt until 3 months n 60 lbs later he realized it wasnt a cat...said he had it for abt 4yrs kept it in the house and everything said the police killed it because he would ride around with it n once while he was shooting dice it got out the car n when they saw a cougar in the ghetto!
