Let's see, I would ask them if they owned dogs off him and was around those dogs. People who run certain dogs normally know what those dogs are doing bc most real dogmen like knowing percentages and not just their own. They want to know if they are as successful in a friend or associates hands. Not to mention they would want to know if the half brothers/sisters they own have siblings that are Ch caliber. And just in case you don't want to believe it, people who stud and sell pups have a tendency to stretch truth some.. A daughter of a partner, (not kennel partner but more combine type) stud dog was bred to Cowboy. Maybe you think I'm bashing him when I'm not I know people who love the Sig stuff hell ask the owner I even told him I was going to try some of it from a few different ways bc I know they're good hounds. Doesn't take away quality of your pups or dogs whether he ROM or not. They still got to go make it do what it do.. But a single Ch can't be found off him let alone 3 let alone 5 and I know the dog was just supposedly starting his breeding career. It's not pissing match WR just talking dogs brother. We can talk in PM when you realize I'm not out to offend you or the dogs. Good dogs always get my respect.

I hear ya bout the lying, what im sayin is folks ask how the sig blood is. Who cares if the dog was a ch or just did otc's, that has no barring on how the dog produces. Whats if he was only game tested and didnt win shit? As long as he was a game and threw the same is all that REALLY matters at the end of the day.

 

Oh that what we are discussing producing not performance, one guy says the dog just started breeding and has only OTC winner, but the owner sales pitch is he has 5 Chs. It's a big difference when I say my hound is a ROM already throwing 5 Ch and his stud career is young. Means he throwing that shit, but if reality is he got 2 OTC winners it changes things dramatically.

 

I see exactly what R & R is saying. What a hound has or has not produced DIRECTLY RATES him or her as a producer. I am in no way shape fashion or form specualting on what this particular hound has or has not produced either, but in studding to or getting something off a dog, the producing abilities is first and foremost.

I'm your huckleberry..lol. I can not vouch for hounds that were not directly from our yard. Ch. Sig, Ch. Cricket, Ch. Mama, Ch. Sigmata, Sig Jr (2xw-1xd), Ravem (1xw), Sigerette (1xw) & Black Betty (1xw) were ALL products of the Sigman!!! Like Rock & Rye said go to the SOURCE if you want to know something.

I've finally found out the truth about Blackrain's Cowboy. I just got off the horn with the other half of BR and he says Cowboy has ONLY 1 winner and that's BR's Knucklehead (2xw). I was hoping this wasn't true but unfortunately the other half was trying to peddle the blood.

 

I was told he had 9 CH's but all this was a lie to sale puppies. I myself bred to him on the strength I was being told the truth. Smmfh!!!
