There are more extremes than that ... within Southern Kennels before the old site went down I could show you in the JRB bitches two females closely related and one was evidently bullodg and the other long and snipey and always going 100mph Terrier..

You can find bulldog and terrier type dogs within the Lonzo strain as well.. If you compare COLBY to OFRN the Colby tends to be more bulldog and the OFRN more terrier ... IF you look within the Buck and patrick stock dogs you'll see both bulldog and terrier extremes as well as in Hammonds or most other strains.. Jeep is more terrier than bulldog in most cases .. men used to say 30/70 or 50/50 cross ... because the science of dna is recorded in the pedigree if you have a good eye you can spot it and use it right. Most old timers like the terrier mouth on bulldog jaws .. They tend to have the hardest bite according to the old timers. Compare dogs to GrCh Banjo... who is an old world bulldog reborn in todays era.. Hammonds Pig aka Snort is another good bulldog of this era soon to be yesterdays...

Fascinating. Do you have any pics to show these differences?
