Pre Cajun days... Pincher catch weight 56 up. 45 and down Fitzwaters Goldie, .. Cajun days.. Kayo, Alligator, .. Melonhead(dont care that she quit once, came back and has a list no dog can match) and other dogs like her... .. Tonka (cause he was a tactician) I really think Panther was something because he was seen by enough folks he could've been pkd up; and cause a certain GRCH paid 4F to go else where and gain that GR status. Says alot for the day and time was the wonder years LOL left over from the glory years, down from the golden years! Hahaha. Seriously dog like him and alligator that folks dodged and didn't pk up well... says an awful lot. To say one dog had more than any other ever.. I think we have to look at dogs that lost then won and won and won never to look back rackin up over 10 might have more than any other; as well as dogs like Panther, Alligator, etc that get seen by everyone and dodged just the same. But lets not forget the dogs we don't hear about, that get tripl dogd by some rough hearted or ignorant dicks proving a dog a cur and make it never to be heard of except a name in a ped. (I feel horrible for those dogs and believe them to be priceless if they produce)

Whats the best dog that ever lived? For every answer there are 100 others <<< believe that was stated on page one. Depends on your taste in dogs.

Best dog genetically? Fitzwaters Goldie . Sorrells Czy Mary II . Heinzls Kayo . Colbys Dime. JMO

Gr. Ch. Melonhead from TX.? He never quit. One problem with your list Crazy Mary wasn't bred as said.
Goldie was a good one because he was 2xw. the rest, there is an old saying, "sling enough shit up against the wall, something has to stick."
If they weren't in the [] what merit other then this would they claim be?

The pedigree reads like a symphony. I really enjoy seeing the different breeding styles used when looking at a ped.. I have seen inbred dogs not bred that tight. Great line breeding. Nothing rushed (for example inbreeded off one dog just to get the percentage up of that dog). It seems as if the blood is added in just right. :)

Yup IM I obviously had Melonhead confused with a different dog, I put them all in a list of more than 11 wether they quit at one point or not. Kayo was a []dog and dime is behind some good dogs that would not be if not for his genetic donation. It seems there are quite a few dogs that were not bred as ped shows or have more than one ped. I agree with NCT (his take) and others once again props: good eye, good grab on a good dog that is a flavor of redboy that has a very select source. Good redboy dogs that have the old dog(s) up close bred clean and tight are only in select pockets of the country and they do stand out next to a dog that is super inbred linebred inbred and has less of the original redboy traits and more mutations of his traits. Dex! thats a good one, Shes gotta lot of good dogs (as NCT touched on kinda, its a syphony .. to see each flavor of patrick (x's) tightly bred then stacked up) behind her..

Ch. Kayo was a dog from the late 50's, more then 60 years ago. he was owned by Jack Kelly and he appeared in Your Friend and Mine.
Bull Shit. Dime wasn't needed. He appeared to far back to make a difference and if you want to make a statement then do so correctly,,,,,IF it wasn't for Rifle no one would have known of Dime.
Dime was always bred to his mother's half sisters, daughters of Rifle. Dime had to line bred to produce anything known in a pedigree.

I'm amazed how you continue to comment about dogs of the past and only being around this breed for 12 years. You comment about Red Boy and his line and you never laid eyes on him. I have photos right from Katie's yard of dogs you never saw.
Before you write about Red Boy and line breed dogs you might want to know the quality of those inbred dogs in the [].
If you know so much about Howard Teal's dogs, tell me about Rootberg's Booger.

Here is one for you all, that I personally know about as a performance dog.
    Gr. Ch. Joey.
His championship was over 1xw who was DG and owned by the well known dogman late Frank Bunce aka Buns & Co. His name was Ugly 1xw and litter mate to Ch. Red Dog, they were sons of Ch. Timex and Susie Q (1xw over Dawg Patch & the Rebel).

Next CH. Backdoor Joey won over CH. Redman and then the famous match of his win over Kirkland's Gr. Ch. Texas.
Three weeks later came out again and won over CH. Waldo!

yes you called me out. it was rifle I was thinkin of listing but after a quick thumb through, I seen that dime was in more dogs than even I realized. I do agree it was rifle behind him. ;) http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=offspring&dog_id=451
In the foundation to ALOT of dogs ^^^

Good choice of dogs ^^, never was a fan of Joey's but cannot be denied the same.... he was a machine like very few; it was the shot of alligator that I did like and take notice of the quality of him. (NOT all alligator eli/boudreaux X's work out so good). I have more appreciation for him now that Im not stuck on JRB like I was when I first got the fever only 15yrs back. Yeah wildside made more than few good cliks. My favorite was NINO sold to Krzyside. I like Timex though.
