Black nose throwbacks

I'm just wondering if anyone has some advice on two red nose dogs throwing black nose pups? The litter is half red nose half black. I've heard mixed things just wondering what the chances are of such high percentage of black nose pups?

If both parents are true red red nose in color, that's impossible you can only get red nose pups. More than likely another dog bred your bitch if both parents are red nose dogs.

but saw him breeding a peace of shit to his bitch to be shure he got pups lol

 

I know and speak/spoke with about 4 gentleman who all combined have about 200 years of experience with dogs, 1 gentleman with red red nose dogs specificially and not 1, let me repeat that in all caps NOT 1 HAS EVER SEEN A DOG OFF 2 RED RN PARENTS WITH A BLACKNOSE. Sorry to let you know but you been had. It's just not possible. If both of your parents have blonde hair and blue eyes and you came out with brown hair and brown eyes your momma got a secret. You my friend are the Milkman's baby, worry not a lot of folks don't have a clue who their father might truly be. Women aren't as honest as you believe, just as your bitch let another male release in her to give you some blacknose pups

 

In order to get half red and half black pigmented pups, the parents had to be "bb" and "Bb" ...in other words one was liver nosed and one was black nosed but carried the gene for liver. Theres no way around it.

In fact one was chocolate nose not red. To my understanding this is actually just a dilute of the black gene?

A dog can have black, liver/chocolate, blue or isabella skin pigment or if theres no pigment it might appear pink.
Chocolate is not the dilute of black, blue is. Chocolate is a seperate gene. The dilute of chocolate is isabella.

 

Lol I'm totally clueless, all my dogs are either Red,Black, light Fawn, Dark Fawn, Buckskin or White! Idk all the fancy smancy terms lmao

Non existent... More than likely either the breeder is lying to you about the sire or another male also bred the bitch...
