Anyone here feed canned food

    Anyone use can food, or mix it with their dry? Im just asking because ive had this case of canned food for a good while now and im wondering if I should just use it or toss it. What do you think?

    The only time I use it is when I need to mix medication. Then I use Merrick.

    depending on the brand, a quality canned food is actually more beneficial then kibble.. merricks canned food is one of the best IMO.

    yeah sometimes ill mix purina one or totw canned or natural balance. if tsc has it for sale at a good price or marked down than ill fuck wit it!!!

    Its alpo, I think ill just mix it in. I used it before had my dogs shit all fucked up hard to clean up messes like they were making. Lol. I been using a new food the past month that is much better on waste and it diamond naturals.i used to stay away from diamond but hell they make totw.

    I keep some around incase I have one that is sick. I found most will eat it over dry food.

    If you have it use it. Canned is better but usually ends up costing a lot more long term.

    I wouldn't use hot water because they add vitamins/minerals (and probiotics in higher end foods) after cooking. You don't want to damage them. Youll have to feed more then to make up for the loss of nutrients. I add slightly warm water to kibble though.

    Why waste it, just mix it with the kibble and feed it to your dog, oh the horror is some peoples logic that they need to ask this kind of questions on the board LMAO.

    I asked for others opinions. I wanted to know what others would do. Some people actually take feeding their hounds serious. Thats what this board is for. And wtf does logic have to do with it ?

    Don't toss it. Feed it or donate it but don't let it go to waste. Personally, I would feed it. Nothing wrong with it fed sparingly over time. It is not the best or ideal food but it is not the end of the world either. S
