Weight pull Harness or x-back Harness

    Hi.
    Can i use a weight pull Harness if i want that my dog pull me on a dog Scooter or bike or hAve i to use a x-back Harness?

    I wouldn't recommend. For pulling a bike or scooter you better use a type of harness similar to walking harnesses. Something like this Distance Harness - $29.00 : Howling Dog Alaska, Simplicity Functionality Affordability Quality
    The problem with x-back harnesses is that they are designed for the load connection place to be approximately at the same level or slightly lower than the level of the back of the dog. And line connection in bike or scooter is usually placed higher. If your dog is rather tall, it is not a great problem but you have to make sure that the line is long enough, because if it'll be too short, the difference of connection of the line on harness and on the bike/scooter will be too abrupt. If your dog isn't tall enough, you probably shouldn't use x-back at all for biking. And weight pulling harness' connection level is designed even lower to the ground and it is no good for bike or scooter. Hope that makes sense....

    A WP harness isn't good for that, this is what i use for pulling me on roller blades
