Me and PMD are in the same boat here. I have one that will eat somebody's ass up lol even with me standing there. Better believe she's well contained and anybody that comes here is warned to not go close. You come here a few times and she might warm up to you. But nobody comes here so she's not warmed up to anybody yet lol.

Good read, i still think some ppl dont understand the difference between a manbiter and a maneater.
I wouldnt put down a manbiter, these dogs can be selective with humans, once they get to know you,
or know you since puppy they can be very calm with you. instead a total stranger they wouldnt hesitate to bite.
I had a litter in 2011 with 6 pups. Mother was a great dog, father was a mix between manbiter and high prey drive,
he would hunt kids down the street and when got close he would grab them and hurt them. Thankfully this never happend!
The litter of 6 pups i had 4 normall behavior once and 2 manbiters aswell... i did sell 3 to friends and kept the others 3.
1 male, 2 females. when they began to grow you could see there change of behavior and the starting at young age...
I got pregnant so gave the father dog back to his breeder because he would be isolated from the city,
seeing no other kids or unwanted guests at the yard so could live his live in peace, best choice for the dog.
1 female here at my house with manbiter traits i keep easily with my son, no problems at all, she very protective with him.
But every other human she will bite, but it takes good knowing to handle these dogs, you always need to think 3 steps in advantage.
It's hard keep, but so long the dog is good to the family i wouldnt kill a manbiter at all... JMHO
Hope it wasnt that offtopic :)

By the way difference i see in manbiter vs maneater,
its that a manbiter is selective in biting ppl... a maneater will look at humans like he would look at a dog across the pit ;)

    Thx for sharing...
Only thing I would put dwn is curs, and 99.9% of the time, man eaters are curs.... I have a few man biters, and will gladly keep them lol

Good points by both! Dogs bite what they want. Period. Some like a variety of things to bite, ppl included. As long as mine know who to bite, I'm good. If I ever get Zebo quality, he can only bite my left hand lol... J/k.... Kinda serious tho

Ive been on the internet for three or for years and have known him through mutual friens for the same time that youve known him via internet...

Are you sure it wasnt his belly brother ??his blind champion batman would bite anything that would touch him...
At least thats what his owner told me that after the action started he would be more focused and only got you if you handeled early,,, but any other time he would bite anything that touched him,,,one reason you dont see him in a ped... I heard some other interesting stories about when he defeated the late k.gaines and his general lee 2x,,,
both were going for thier championships and the game batman prevailed over another monster...

Really? LMAO....cmon man its aight, its aight calm down, have some crum um sum yung guy. LMAO

P.S. Just to stay on topic a MAN EATER is just another TYPE of MAN BITER being on the extreme side of the spectrum.

  14. KDW

    KDW Native Nightmare

you cant call it a "type" its either a man BITER or a man EATER... a man eater i would but a bullit in game or not...

  15. Saiyagin

    Saiyagin Chihuahua

It is a type. If it was not a type, then a man eater would apply to any dog that bit a man, hence why there are MANY TYPES of man biters with a man eater being one TYPE, its just basic simple common sense LOL......What does you putting a bullit in a man eater if it was game or not have to do with it being a type? LMAO

  16. The circumstances, intension, and intensity are all factors that people weigh when a dog bites. There is a distinction between a nipper and maneater because they are very different. Matters of opinion always have different verdicts, because everyone is the judge of their own yard. Some people are willing to make exceptions, when others feel like it's cut and dry situation. The debate gets even more serious when children are involved .

I see a dog like Zebo and think it'd be a nightmare to work with this dog, specifically because everyone who worked with him said it was a fuxking hassle. I guess some are willing to rub a dogs nuts to bribe their dog from exploding into a blood thirsty rampage. I choose to cull whenever unpredictable mood swings enter the equation, in my opinion it's just as bad as quitting.

The only two scenarios I would deem it acceptable for a dog to bite someone and still be bred would be; an accidental chomp that was immediately released upon recognition of the mistake during a play session (which can easily happen between a friendly dog and a child), or a dog that did it out of a reasonable sense (not a hateful sob that masks it's insecurity with over aggression) of duty to protect their owner or family members.

Playing leads to accidents sometimes, it's the nature of having fun. I expect a bulldog with a strong defensive instinct to appear like a man eater after it has engaged in a fight with an undesirable.

Like I said earlier every one is the judge of what is acceptable and what is not. Pure accident and righteous protection are my only exceptions.

"What really happened to CH Super Man*s match? He was punishing his opponent, and than all of a sudden he got weak and died?
Man, I don*t know for sure. I have to be honest with you, Super Man was so crazy that he was not to be trusted around people. He would definitely bite, but not just peo- ple, anything! There were days when I couldn*t go near him myself, so I never took him to the vet. He could have possibly had some kind of illness that I wasn*t aware of, and I didn*t have an autopsy done, so I couldn*t say for certain either way. It just seemed a bit puzzling that he could be killing his opponent with a chest hold then all of a sudden stop biting, lose his will to fight, and just falls over and dies, right there in the box. I*m not plac- ing blame on anyone, or making excuses for CH Super Man. It is what it is, he got killed in the box for his Grand Championshipship."

SDJ April 2014. Looks like 2 in one litter. Send pm if you want to read the story yourself. Not sure about the rules postin the link. It's in the one Robertosilva posted with the PDFs and links

So you woulda put Zebo down? Even after you saw him work???

  20. Yeah I'd cull him, and any other dog that got a crazy look and attacked me for no reason.I'd rather have a bulldog that was a game loser with a badass personality, than a impressive cur that would just assume eat me or a loved one. His best son was probably bullyson, who was given the same weak mind his cur daddy had. Sounds like nothing I want to have any part of.

I have a real problem with people that are dismissive of the shitty things they, or people they care about do because of this or that. Thats a weak minded persons justification to absolve themselves or said loved ones of any wrong doing on their behalf. The same thing goes for the people trying to justify a shitty dog, I won't tolerate it in the slightest.

I believe that the people who created the breed were of a rough cut and didn't make these kinds of exceptions, mostly because they weren't given that kind of treatment. They were accountable people who welcomed the responsibility of stewardship, and didn't take shortcut or make excuses. The same folks that make excuses will continue to go on making excuses that I, and most, don't want to hear. There's no use for a dog of any breed that just flips a switch and trys to kill people.Thats the exact dog "society" has been weeding out since we got our first.
