    Well
even if it has a source doesn't mean the owner didn't make it up. Just nicer to know where the information is from and maybe see the bigger picture lol. People can't agree on things that happened ten years ago let alone over a hundred years. The more info the better in my opinion. I doubt we will ever know the quality of opponents the EBT was up against much like many other dogs advertised as winners at that time.

Saw this dingo out at one of the western desert camps today. Not pure, but pretty close to it (white paws and tail are a giveaway). This is about the best proof you're going get that the most successful native dingos were the camp dogs - not the wild ones - as the Aborigines were the best source of food for them.

The next pic shows why native dogs don't stay native long once you introduce other breeds.

The last pic was a bit of an after-thought that maybe some here wouldn't believe these pix are mine.

Nice pics, and yes Australia is a beautiful country, I was born in Australia (longtime ago) but I haven't any memories, I only know the stories from my older brothers and sister.
We (my 4 brothers, and I) try to go next year to Australia, depends of 1 of my brothers health.
As long as his health permits, we want to rent a camper and visit the places where we were born (Perth,Kalgoorlie, fairfield,Foster)

Yes, it's beautiful country. But it's also very hard. Hot, dry - about two thirds desert - you really have to hand it to the Aborigines for surviving here for tens of thousands of years. They say the dingo is about 6,000 years old, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was older. They used to think Aborigines had populated the continent for 10,000 then 20,000 then 40,000 and now possibly 80,000 years. Oldest continuous culture on earth, pre-dating everyone else by at least 50,000 years.

I know Perth well - I think you would enjoy visiting.

I would think a lot of APBT that have little to no stop on the top of there head have bull terrier blood in them from a very long time ago. Look at Chinaman he has very little stop where his eyes are.

Well, they aren't show-bred bullies. First video appears to be from north-east China, near Russia, so maybe Russian-bred influence?

The second video, that white bully not only gives away more than a few pounds to the red dog, but has to deal with the collar. You can even hear a woman in the video saying the red dog is "too big" for the white. Clearly a game test for the bully.

Last two are the same bully-cross. He's got a few pounds on the black dog, but the last video he's even more out of condition.

On a completely different note, I was out in the Western Desert again this week and found a family of bully x dingo with maybe a bit of greyhound in them. This was at a different Aboriginal community to the last.

The bloke who owns these dogs clocked them at a constant 45-50km/h the other day running next to his ute. Lots of rain out in the desert lately - very green at this time of year (wet season). Locals say there haven't been any pure-bred bullies in the community for years, so these are likely descendants of bullies going way back. It's a pretty small, isolated and inbred place.

Yeah, I don't know what the point of that exercise was. It seemed the owner of the bully wanted to test him out, so they brought out the big red dog and left the collar on her to ensure she didn't get injured. Interesting that they put a dog against a bitch. The woman in the video was saying the bitch was too big, implying a better test would have been a dog of similar size.

Although the video is only 18 minutes long, it seems like they had already been fighting for some time when the video starts. The bully may have got its arse kicked, but still scratched. Not bad for a "show pony".
