You can flip reverse that and say would Floyd have been able to dominate at such an old age back then without the advancements in the nutrition and supplements of today?

The thing about Jimmy Wilde was the fact that despite not weighing anywhere near the flyweight limit he held that title from about 1916 to 23,and beat world class bantamweights. He could quite easily have fought at least one weight division below fly possibly even two in the modern era.not sure how old he was when villa finally beat him,but i think he was inactive prior to this, and a good age, remember back then if you were 30 you were practically an old man, especially in those lower weight divisions. At the end of the day though you got to take your hat off to floyd,he beat whoever was put in front of him and theres only a handfull in the history of the game can say that.

So now that we're done with the circus, who's ready for Canelo VS GGG? :)

I've got a semi on about this fight, a few years back Golovkin would have pulverized him but he's slowed down a hell of a lot recently. It's a pick em fight now but I still think GGG will get the stoppage.

I had heard of him but was not knowledgeable. That is Wikipedia information.

Regardless of any of that 104 in a row at anything is world class.

I'm thinking GGG gets him early if he can if not, I'm thinking Canelo late KO or wins the decision.

I don't think Golovkin has a hope in hell of getting a decision even if he clearly wins the fight. He needs to go in there and destroy Canelo IMO.

One does not need to be severely dehydrated to receive IV...........around 50% of people world wide are mildly dehydrated as most do not drink adequete amounts of liquids every day as the daily recommended water intake is 8-8oz glasses of water a day for the average person depending on weight and sex...not drinking enough fluids every day wont effect you right away but as the days go by it worsens if one does not have enough water intake......increase in water intake is needed even more so for ATHLETES as there are a lot of athletes that receive IV due to being dehydrated during training sessions or after the actual sport....Hence why I dont see the big deal about one using IV.........There are dogmen that use IV during hard and hot/humid training sessions as some dogs do not drink adequete amounts of water during a keep.

He requested the IV the night before the fight, he had all day to rehydrate himself. He also didn't request the TUE till after the bout, dodgy as fcuk......

The TUE for Mayweather's IV -- and the IV was administered at Floyd's house, not in a medical facility, and wasn't brought to our attention at the time -- was totally unacceptable," Bennett is quoted as saying in the report. "I've made it clear to [USADA CEO] Travis Tygart that this should not happen again. We have the sole authority to grant any and all TUEs in the state of Nevada. USADA is a drug-testing agency. USADA should not be granting waivers and exemptions. Not in this state. We are less than pleased that USADA acted the way it did."

That person who wrote that long ass article (in which I did read most of it and skimmed through some) is all assumptions and speculations.....it was even stated and he repeated it twice that he does not know for sure if Floyd was on Ped.

IV fluids for dehydration is perfectly acceptable/legal and can be administered out side of a medical facility by one that is permitted to do so which varies state by state.....The true intentions of why the IV fluids were given can never be disproven IF it was given for the sole purpose/reason of dehydration as it will be written in the report of the person who administered the IV.....The only way it can be proven is if one makes a CONFESSION of ones actual INTENTIONS of using IV fluids that was other wise not specified in the report.....Meaning Floyd would have to admit he used IV fluids to MASK his use of PEDS and no one in his right mind would ever admit that shit. LMAO

Whats totally unacceptable is one using PED in any legal sport.....BUT IV fluids is perfectly acceptable to treat DEHYDRATION.

To claim one used IV fluids to cover up the use of PED instead of what it was actually intended for (which is dehydration) without any solid evidence or proof is all just assumptions and speculations and holds little to no merit.

Water ,,you have, Acidic,Neuatral and Alkaline.Bottled water is filtered so much it actually becomes acidic. You really want a higher alkaline content. You want a body to be at a high alkaline, oxidized state.
