Congrads to Tyson Fury, his team formed a excellent gameplan and was well executed by Fury.. I was rooting for Wilder, but Fury did exactly what he needed to do.. I really think that Fury has Wilder's number, and I would be even more comfortable in say, if he keeps his mind right, he beats ALL of the top heavy weights..

Fury was born not ten miles away from me love a real contest between fighting men. MMA has changed to a sport in its own right now. Love both lol.

Wilder got big dogged. Fury is the best heavyweight going right now.

What will hurt him is that in his era there are not five six seven guys people want to to see him fight.

If Wilder has good management he will not sign the rematch and push for a fight with Joshua. I think he murders Joshua. Joshua is soft.

Then for the trilogy fight he will have been paid twice instead of once. He is older and just got exposed for having zero boxing skills so he should cash in while he can.

The next big fight is Joshua vs fury and I see fury winning by Ko in the 9th. But I also want to see wilder vs Ruiz.

Disagree @slim12 I sort of get where you're coming from in terms of AJ's laid back attitude and I wish he'd lose that role model for disadvantaged teenagers shit, dump the great ambassador for the sport of boxing and get back to the 'street dog' mentality that put him in jail years ago.. Dillian Whyte's attitude combined with AJ's power and skill? What a good cross that would be, but come on slim! AJ holding 4 heavyweight belts right now!... Defeated Klitscho, Parker, Povetkin, Whyte and Ruiz... Fury's last 2 opponents prior to Wilder were spot picks, Otto Wallin near stopped Fury with a cut eye and Wilder close to putting him in orbit in fight #1.. I watched David Haye (yes DAVID HAYE!) beat the shit out Wilder in sparring, rocked him twice and people losing their senses over Fury defeating Wilder by TKO? Wilder really is as bad as you say slim! I think I might agree with you and @Lrs that Tyson Fury maybe, I repeat 'MAYBE' the best heavyweight around today, but at this point in time and IMO, that's like saying Plumber's Alligator was superior to Henley's Big Boy who was superior to Hooten's Butcher Boy, who was superior to Big Thicket's Ajax, who was superior to Mayday.. Nothing is truth until it's proven.. I do believe it will be proven regardless of who wins and this can only be good for fight fans!

I enjoyed, and learned from your posts for years now slim, just wanted to come back at you on this one with respect as always :-B

I have only watched AJ a couple three times.

To see him be dominated by a fat and out of shape Ruiz the first time and then not be able to dispatch him when he showed up fatter and slower the second time.

His jab is not enough to keep Wilder at bay, not as well as Fury. I think Fury has the advantage on either because he his simply bigger-and just like the dogs-being bigger off sets a lot of things, one could go as far as to say it hides a lot of things.

If one broke down skill for skill I think Joshua is right there with all of them, and most are way above Wilder. Wilder found 42 people who simply could not get out of that big right hand. Fury has the length and the height and the jab and the skill set to do just that. And in the first Wilder hit with the hardest and cleanest shot he has ever hit anyone and I would have bet the farm Fury would have stayed down. But he did not, and not only did he get up, but he carried it the rest of the way.

Not alot of things transcend sports between people and animals, but big dogged is big dogged. LOL

How taller they are .... how harder they fall, but who is able to fix that?, Fury is hard to defeat for any of them.

They tell there is coming as first a rematch between Fury - Wilder. No other fights before for both of them.

Which is a pitty and pretty boring, rather love to see Fury vs Joshua.

Wilder blames his heavy weight entrance suit and his trainer for the loss which is sour grapes IMO.

Haha! Big dogged is good man! I don't like Fury or Saunders! Something so petty shouldn't be allowed to cloud my judgement I suppose, but still my money going on Joshua.. I'll suffer severe backlash from the Peeky Blinder Fury fans if AJ loses, but I'm raising my Nigeria flag here in February and 'for me' it's Joshua to win by TKO :-B

True Champions believe in themselves when No one else does ! To earn any exclusive tiltle of World Champ is such an honor. I recently watched a ESPN interview about Fury battling depression , what have you. I have been there personally. It can take any joy , hope, peace ect, from the hardest man or woman. Great job !

Like always, with most sporting events I am just hoping for something competitive.

I can remember back in the day buying PPV's and Tyson cutting someone loose in the first round. I was always excited about the knockout but then the bill came due and I was pissed. But so it goes.

I agree with oldguy from an earlier post, it is all talk unless it actually happens.

I say Tyson would have faired well in the Ali-Frazier-Foreman- greatest era of the heavyweights. He came as hard as Frazier, (early on) had the foot work movement of Ali and could hit like Foreman. My favorite thing about Tyson was for the first few years no one hit him. If D'Amato had lived I think the 'greatest ever' may have been re-defined.

I agree with you 100% . I also recently watch 42-1 Buster Douglass wins of Iron Mike. It shocked the world. Mike's cut man didn't even have the proper kit with him. He acknowledged that he didn't think he would need it. Buster got in the Best shape of his life, got up from a uppercut that would destroy any man, & went on to win that fight. I believe that the lowest ranked pro fighter will destroy a average street fighter in about 2-3 rounds. One of my all time favorite fights as a young man was Thomas Hitman Hernes, vs Marvin Hagler was one of the most exciting short fights I've ever seen. So many greats. One of the greatest heavyweights of all time was. "Larry Holmes" he got robbed by the judge's.

I was a kid watching that fight. When Mike put his mouth piece in sideways we all knew it was over!! Me, my mom, and my brother just turned off the tv, all the lights and went to sleep. We didn’t say a word to each other.

Mike gave a lot of Black ppl pride when he was champ! It was like he was untouchable, a boxing god or saint if you will. No blasphemy intended... He was the last champ urban Black Americans identified with. He was from the struggle, he was mad from the struggle, and he did what most couldn’t, knock fire out a bitch! Holyfield was from the rural South and didn’t mind grinding. He was just as mad and bad, just on the inside. The city struggle and the country struggle are the same but different. Some liked Holyfield some didn’t. WE ALL LOVED MIKE.

I hate that Americans couldn’t embrace Deontay like we did Mike. Mike transcended color and he was jerk a lot of the times. Deontay tried to stand for something he felt was positive and all ppl say is he can’t box... for the record I’m not saying he CAN box, but he had to set the right hand up somehow. Folks didn’t just let him tee off on em

    rant over

@slim12 you’re right. Wilder just got big dogged. Fury hit him and leaned on him. He put him in the headlock several times. What did Deontay do? He waited for the ref to break em up. It was like he had NO ANSWER to the wrestling. Maybe the WWE paid off for Fury, serious. He came in at a wrastler weight and was wrastlin lol! Fury was bout spent by the 7th. He had beat the hell outta Wilder the previous 6 tho...

I’ve said for years they need to have a super heavyweight division 230-240+. Sayin 210-...... is a bit too open imo

Lol nope standard gypsy bare knuckle tactic.i honestly think wilder is abit scared of fury and I can’t say I blame him if you knock 40 men unconscious with a certain technique imagine what it does to your confidence if someone eats it smiles and proceeds to box your ears off. Wilder is the second tallest guy in the division he’s never been man handled by a bigger guy who he couldn’t back up. And I think most fight fans can agree wilder has the worst fighting ability on the back foot than anybody because he’s never needed to.

Now this I understand because fury is our iron mike we can proudly look at someone who came from our situation and say it is possible. Even with all he’s done people still hate the fact that a gypsy man is the heavyweight champ. Britain and Europe hate gypsies like blacks were hated in america during the seventies and eighties.

The tactic worked flawlessly! Wilder had no answer to the rough housing! Fury rolled with those first couple of rights too! The only Wilder rights that landed didn’t have heat on em

I never understood that. How can you hate someone because they look different, talk different, or are from a different place??? I can understand hating an INDIVIDUAL not EVERYBODY.

I don’t dislike Fury btw! I just hate that he beat Wilder, especially the way he did!! I hope for a one sided Wilder ko so they can fight a 4th time and freeze Joshua out until late 2021-2022... Now Joshua I don’t like...
