Slim you have heard the saying one bad apple spoils the bunch. it's a brotherhood amongst law enforcement

 

Police seem to be the same the world over,utter scum,they are a law unto themselves.If people dont rebel and riot,it will just get swept under the carpet,they have to vent their anger,rioting is the only way,and it keeps this issue on the front pages.

 

Interesting that Trump has called the rioters Thugs.Maybe he should have used that term,to descibe the police officers that carried out the murder of mr Floyd,in the first place.

 

The coppers brutalised the Black Community in England for years, remember they shot a child dead as he slept in bed, sparked the 1981 Brixton Riots and slowly things started to change in UK.. The coppers still racist, bully cowards, just more careful about killing innocent people than they was in the 80's.. It's a constant struggle for power, every time we think we managed to get some rights, the coppers kill somebody else and we need to start all over again.. Burning your own neighbourhood achieves nothing since most of us live in shit holes anyway.. The secret is to burn 'THEIR' neighbourhoods, then they feel it!

My wife who happens to be white was like you when we first got together. We would get all kinds of glares, whispers and stuff. I would walk around oblivious to it. When we would get in the car she would bring up how angry those looks made her. I would just laugh and say fuck 'em because I kind of enjoy pissing people off, especially backwards ass bigots. I try to explain to her it is progress. Not so long ago one or both of us would have been dragged behind a pickup or strung from a tree. The rioting and looting is a result of mob mentality and lack of purpose and leadership. All it takes is a few livewires with nothing to lose to get things kicked off and then mob mentality takes over. People in a large groups will do things they normally wouldn't do. Now you have an angry group gathered with no real purpose in mind other than to let people know they are mad. Some people express it by making signs, slogans etc. Others just want to fuck shit up aka "burn baby burn". The burn baby burn group gets the headlines which serves as the reward and justification for their actions. I can sort of see where they are coming from. If this was just peaceful protest society would have already moved on to the next viral video on YouTube or TikTok. Now with rioting it is all over the news and still the topic of conversation. Sane people would see this as bad, but the more radical people will see it as the start of something greater. Every cause needs a voice to lead and direct. With this it is just a gathering of random, angry people with different goals and ideals. The perfect recipe for chaos and disaster.

Someone also mentioned parents teaching kids how to act when dealing with cops. It reminded me of my mom doing the exact same thing when I first started driving. Of course I took her teachings and perfected them because I usually had something in the car I didn't want the cops to know about. It has served me well in life getting me out of all kinds of jam ups. I think all parents should teach their kids this regardless of color. Treat every cop like they just caught someone who looks just like you screwing their wife. They want to shoot you and you have to give them every reason not to. It is sad, but a simple traffic stop can turn into a life or death situation for both parties. Add in the fact that police work attracts a lot of cowardly people, people with an ax to grind and just plain lunatics who get a thrill out of bullying, beating or fatally harming someone. These guys are like the protesters in that normally they wouldn't have the nerve to even say something out of the way, but put a badge on their chest, a gun on their hip and a gang to back them up now they are Billy Badass. I agree the cops need to weed these people out and do a better job of screening who they let don a badge.

As for why black on black crime does not resonate as much as white on black crime or black on white crime, simple answer, I don't know. I think we became numb to it during the crack era. During this time murders were rampant and the false narrative that like 1 in 2 black males would not reach adulthood was around. When I lived in New Orleans I was shocked at first by all the murders, but after while it was business as usual. It is sad and goes back to deeper issues that are a whole topic unto itself. The main reason cops murdering people gets headlines is that they are supposed to be the good guys. With drug dealers and gangbangers killing is just part of the life. I don't think most people feel killing someone accused of a nonviolent crime is just a part of police work.

Hopefully the day will come when murder and dirty cops will be treated as bad as they treat the guy who likes to turn his dog loose every now and then.

Fear that response to response will respond violently. It seems to end in even more chaos on top of the chaos.
No matter how you turn or turn, whether you are a white or black or whatever person and a store owner, no one has the right to loot your store.

Hopefully the government will take this up well and enter into dialogue with the people involved (wishful thinking ).

If the arson and vandalizing and plundering continues, the matter will ultimately be ineffective and a large part of the population will lose its respect for the demonstrators.

Well the protesters made it to Augusta They will be here today and tomorrow.There will be no rioting or burning anything Our Sheriff Department's on top of it.

They trying to shut down the protests here. No one gives a shit about the crooked ass EPD. They don't want to start shooting into this crowd. I'm willing to bet 80% of the folks here are strapped up and people here have very low respect for human life, Cop or civilian. makes no difference here.



This was earlier today at a protest on parade Street, about 7 blocks from state street where first video was taken. Dude punch his girl and mob mentality happens real quickly around here.
