  2. I like the Chinaman that is on the bottom side, and the top is nicely line-bred Tab, which puts quite a bit of Jeep in there, with the addition of Ruby (double Jeep). As long as "Overcoat" and "Muffet" (the parents) do what they're meant to, and aren't just products of a flashy pedigree, than it should be pretty nice.

Looking at your website I am not sure the point of your breeding program, all the males are off different lines, seems like maybe you should re-think what you are tryin to accomplish.

There is only 1 dog in the, I believe, third generation that is chinaman, so its not a heavy chinaman dog on the bottom,
    MOAK & WILSON'S CHINABOY
its more of a Hank dog.

I find it disrespectful that this dog is called Banjo,

LEVI IS OPEN TO PUBLIC STUD!! FOR $500.00 TO APPROVED FEMALES ONLY! BREEDING BY PRIVATE TREATY ONLY!
    Sorry, call name LEVI.

Not my cup of tea. Especially at 68 lbs.

  8. Yea, "Chinaboy" is in the 3rd gen and is 4x Chinaman. THAT DOG is heavy chinaman, but not the dog in question, "Banjo." I dont think it matters if this dog is 68 lbs or 48 lbs....APPEARANTLY (by ped alone), he was bred for the right reasons, and I personally wouldn't discount this dog because he's on the big side. Gotta think.... *MAYDAY* :) now, im not tryin to compare this "Banjo" aka "Levi" to the one and only Mayday, but there was a time when Mayday was just another larger-than-average gamebred dog with nothing to show for himself. Ya know? And who knows, in the hands of someone else, your everyday dog can become something GREAT....just like Chinaman himself. :)

That's all fine and dandy for YOU, but as I said, it's MY OPINION, and it's NOT MY cup of tea.
It was mentioned above that this dog was heavy Chinaman on the bottom, it's not. That is what I was pointing out.
I also toured his website and found nothing of interest to me, but again, that is my choices/preferences coming into account.

And Mayday was never an average dog. He stood out from the beginning.

    Have a good day:)

  10. Dude...i was AGREEING with you that the dog was not HEAVY Chinaman. The dog is not my "cup of tea" either....and i was simply stating MY opinion about size not mattering if the dog does its duties. But hey...seems like a GREAT reason to give me bad rep points...huh? :/

what disrespect???? Why you don't like Banjo's?? what's his name got to do with anything? Besides we did not name him, if thats your only problem with him then why say anything at all? and seems that you are the only person to see he has a lot of Hank blood, do you know how big Hank himself was??, not all big dogs are garbage, tiny dogs not my cup of tea!

For starters I am not trying to breed for pretty papers and all bloodlines have something to offer, you would be ignorant to deny this. You will notice that some of my dogs are for sale, we have clear goals in our program, breed a better dog, we do not paper breed, and our two males have many common ancestors, and the other is for sale. Levi is as good as or better than any dog most will ever own, and we are lucky to own him! Maybe you should should look at the site again, because I am not sure of the point of your comment??

There are some common things here and there but not alot. If you have a problem with getting comments maybe you shouldn't have posted, think about that.
Pedigrees serve a purpose, if you don't care about peds then why post them ask for comments, that Levi dog I would never include in a breeding program because he is a little to loose. Looks like you are trying to do something with Chinaman dogs but not really sure what.

I went to your site, looks like you take good care of your dogs. Some people and I am one of them like to stay with-in one line of dogs. Some go in every direction. I have found that you just don't know sometimes where the true bulldogs are going to come from.

Do what makes you happy as long as you are a responsable owner and it looks as if you are.

Don't dude me! If your going to give me attitude, get it right, it's dudette;)

Where in my post did I say anything about you or your Chinaman comments? I was responding to someone else......

Who said I gave you bad rep points?????

Did I say that you named the dog? The reason I find it disrespectful is that Banjo was an awesome dog and there will/should never be another. I would never name a dog Bolio, Honeybunch or Eli either because I respect the dogs of old.

Why do people get so upset when someone elses opinion doesn't match theirs? It all of a sudden becomes a problem. There's more than the name of your dog that makes him not my cup of tea. I don't like how big he is or how he is bred. I personally think your whole yard is garbage, but again, it's my opinion and it really shouldn't bother you at all. Because it's my opinion.

But you put his ped up and asked for opinions, and I gave mine.

And yes, I know how big Hank was. Too big for my tastes.

The Hank blood comes to your dog through the Andre Giroux dogs....

    Cheers:)

  19. Keeping doing what your doing....you're doing what many Old-time Dogmen have done for ages......breed best to best (I'm assuming this is what your doing...not just breed this paper to that paper).

Some prefer sticking to the same blood and others like to make their own. Just remember your way requires much, much more culling than breeding like bloods but the option you chose has the potential to whelp the future of our breed. yeah, yeah, a bit over the top but hope you get my point.LOL.

  20. Sorry for the gender confusion...but believe me, there was no attitude in what I said. My "reputaion rating" is what says you gave me negative rep :) take a look at it if you can...im not sure if you can view it or not.
