I apologize for my month long (or more) disappearance, but all is well. I don't have much time to explain, but I will be back on later tonight. I've missed y'all!

  15. Welcome back Mia! was it a G or B?

Glad to see you are doing fine. You got a whole new world now. Believe me, nothing prepares you for those long days and nights. Don't let hubby off the leash though, we tend to do some "long hours at work" (sometimes) when things get complicated with the new ones.

    Take care and stay safe.

Thanks y'all. No baby yet....not due until July. but I have had some minor complications & was put on bed rest for a while.

It all started when our new dog decided to redirect some frustration onto my thigh. Then being as I'm allergic to penicillan, the stupid nurse at the doctor's office decided to give me a nice big dose of, you guessed it, penicillan. So I had a lovely 3 day stay at the hospital for an allergic reaction. On top of it all, my grandmother (who has lived with us (now my parents) since 1991) is ill from liver cancer. So basically I've been spending as much time resting & visiting as possible.

But I'm back. I probably won't spend as much time here for the time being, but I'll be here. ;)

Yes. It was a quick bite/release so just 3 precise punctures. Plus, it was right on the spot where I have scars from being bitten by a GSD at work, so I'm not worried. And thanks to NuStock...just kidding, but thanks to good care, the scarring will barely be noticable.

And I'm sorry for the loss of your grandmother. Losing family & loved ones is hard...especially when you see them deteriorate right before your eyes.
