101 Most Popular Pit Bull Names

A lot of these names are goofy and a lot of them are generic. When I name dogs and cats, I get creative. I had a litter of inbred pups from two black full siblings off VBK's Ch Blacky. The black and white one was named Alexander Zivojinovich, the solid dark brown one was Zbigniew Rybczynski, the dark brown and white one was Melanoleuca melaleuca, and the single red one with a black mask was Mendel's Nightmare ("Mendel" because she was the result of two recessive Gr Ch Spike color genes combining; "Nightmare" because she was inbred). Of course all of them except Mendel had monosyllabic call names, and they were all named after humans except Mel, who was named after a mushroom. I recall taking the litter to get their first shots and the pet store nurse asked "what kind of names are these?".
