Advice on finding that pup

Well i finally have a place far enough off the map that the world seem like I'm the only one in it. So Im on the hunt for that perfect female to start things off right... Unfortunately being inexperienced it seems like the only descent chance i have at finding a top notch girl involves me buying at a high price. I guess it is what it is but before i make that step, I wanna do even more research...If there was a stud you would recommend getting a pup off of, which would it be... because i have been researching llantas, macho, spike if tg does another nice breeding with a straw, vengence...and yes i do believe in going to the source and I do know it is all a gamble with a pup. Yes i have also considered buying something with age but its hard for me to trust that anybody would want to let something like that go especially if its a female.....A fool and his money is easily parted and i don't want to be that fool and not know it till i look back in 5-10 yrs.:dogstare:

are you looking to buy a bitch to breed with and keep the pups back? what blood are you interested in? i know of a few gyps for sale now, yearlings and a bit older. Not many gonna sale a proven brood bitch and if so its gonna cost ya

Evolution kennels has a female pup they have for sale off of the machabear II x Machabear prime breeding if you want to go the Machobuck route

i am definetly looking for a female and if she is all that i can want, then yes i would like to breed her. I will be holding all the pups back because that is the only way I can know what i have especially considering that I am new....In regards to bloodline, kennel, or strain preference I am blind per say but I do think she should be from one which we all dream of having a pup from, i would just like a top notch working ped behind a solid working female to make it easier to find something worth linebreeding too. I guess thats why i was asking about the studs, so i can narrow down my search so i can build some rapport with the breeder and just wait for the perfect bitch to come to him.. or maybe thats just the noob in me, feel free to correct my train of thought too... i am here to learn:) thanks in advance

Kayo 45... beautiful ped but the parents dont seem like they have ever been outside, which makes me worry with such a close breeding

I believe they were bred based on ped soley so the chances on getting a good one from that might not be too high.

Gettin one off Spike might be a huge risk aswell due to the amount you have to pay for a pup and there is no telling when TG will do another spike breeding so I'd recommemd looking at other dogs

Checked out the bulldog barn? Save those pennies, and get you a solid bitch instead of a pup.

its really too broad of a question. there are thousands of female pups out there. until you know what you want nobody is really gonna be able to help you. honestly, they're all dogs. pick a line that appeals to you for whatever reason.

u know what i like about this forum no one is jumping down this guys throat for wanting to breed as far as finding a pup i would save the money and buy a proven bitch

thats the mentality of a guy who been around the block and wants to
eliminate the hard work needed to learn. for the new guy it's essential to
start from scratch. the reason behind this logic is evident to those who have
    been through it.

can u elaborate more i am intrested in breeding to i figure it would be better to get a proven bitch then hitting and missing with puppies

It would probably be better to get a female pup then pay stud fee off a proven producer

it's one of those things that must be learned on your clock.
the long road is tiresome, but it nets the most information.
this hobby will weed out the ones not suited for the long
haul. the rest of the riddle you'll have to figure out on your own.
if you're truly committed it should be worth the effort.

I would rather pay the stud fee you'll end up with a litter of pups instead of just one, better odds.

now you gotta factor in time and cost. this is the correct way of doing
things,..but time and money will factor in as well....say low ball 1500 to 3000 and up for a proven bitch...now 500+ for stud fee's...then we got
vet care for a litter of 6+ pups and hope no complications arise....

so the proven bitch road will cost you easily 5 grand to jump in head first.
the slow road will net you 400-1500 for a pup and now you have time to
enjoy the long road and learn as you go...idk what I'm trying to say but I'm sure I've said enough to get the point.
