another bad example of pet owner

i have an almost 2yr old pittbull who needs to be given some attention.. she had babbies 8wks ago and her personality has changed, shes under weight and is stressed out.... if you can give her a good home please contact me... her name is princess ckc reg. and she loooovvveess to play fetch with ANYTHING... She is house broken and is flea free.. shes not due for her annual till january... shes great with other dogs and would be good with older children..asking $100 rehoming fee.This dog needs you!

 

WTF is a re-homing fee? Jeez.

she had babbies 8wks ago and her personality has changed, shes under weight and is stressed out....
She is probably too young to be having a litter. How old is almost two anyway? I'm guessing almost two in his eyes= she was bred at about 13 months + 2 months that she carried, and the pups were whelped at 15 months. Was she prepared for birth? She's losing weight fast b/c she's feeding 8 whelping pups! Get her some supplements, and a high quality feed. These changes are things he should have researched before breeding!

this reads like he's giving the dog anti flea treatments annually. I think she should get them (advantage, etc) every 30 days

Im with you DJ...what the hell is this? Is this a subtle way of saying that he's used her ass to get some pups to sell, and now she's useless?

 

its sad is what it is.

your not aloud to SELL dogs on craigslist so people ask for "rehomeing fees".
They says its to re-coop some costs of the dog.
i saw a bully a couple weeks ago with a rehoming fee of $700

as long as you say your "trying to find this dog a good home" and not "DOG FOR SALE" you can put it on there.....with a rehoming fee of course

 

Well it's like this if you are willing to pay for a mutt or specific breed who is not a puppy then most likely you really want the dog and will take good care of the dog if i were to give it away for free then i'm sure it would end up around all over

Yes she was bred young, but why is she now useless? Why start over with a pup? Seems she was already useless and he's cutting ties and recouping losses. Just my take, my female ( P.K.N.Y.'s "JEWELS" )threw me some fire at 9yrs old. Her second and last litter. I held her for 4 more years hoping to repeat, but she died of old age.
