Anyone with these activities on the list. Or have even attempt. Definitely some you close to sea. Even running of the bulls. I know not for everyone but hell even a small attempt would last you a memory. Please don't say any MOM shit like. THE FIRST TIME COULD BE YOUR LAST.

Windsurfing is big here in the NW. But I don't do it.

I grew up surfing. Until about 17 when I got a job and could no longer live at my uncles for the summers, and visit every time I caught a break. My uncle is a pro kite surfer out of the obx and travels around the world doing it.

When I was 15 there was a hurricane off shore. My father and myself decided to go check it out and stay with my uncle. When we got there the beach was closing out as far as the eye could see with sets 10-17. stormy as shit!

I begged my old man to go and eventually he let me. My uncle and myself were the ONLY ones that made it out. I ended up getting buried. Thought I was going to lose my life.

We laugh about it now, but my dad considers it on of the only mistakes he made with me growing up. It got HAIRY.

I went to Oahu a few years ago to watch pipe pro and the sunset stop of the triple crown. Had a house on the north shore right by pounders and would take the bus every morning and go watch shit way out of my league. So beautiful I considered just being homeless out there.

My dad was a ass kicking legend out there with my uncles always trying to live up to him. If you lived there I could tell you one thing and you would immediately know who they are, but not everyone sees eye to eye about these dogs and I prefer to keep it private.

My dad took all of his employees at the time out to dinner at Kelly’s where one of the got into a fight with a transgender band. I was too young to really enjoy it.

Somw good redboy dogs are hid off a touch further south than we were talking about. I still have family on Roanoke island. I haven't been that far east in almost 15 years. I do miss it.

That’s about when I was spending the majority of my time there. I love it there too. I haven’t been more than a couple times a year since. You can still ride down south and have the beach to yourself if you know where to go. in the middle summer at that. Where else can you do that?

You ever hear of windmill pointe, mrs. t’s deli, or island dyes? I know if you were fighting in wancheese you were fighting some fisherman. You ever hear of the Daniels family out that way? It’s like a fishing clan.

Island dyes was my spot!! I spent so much time at "the sandbox" right behind it lol.

I grew up with a few Daniels. Mostly stuck around the other poor trashy kids myself. Kdh was my stomping ground more than anywhere else. Weekend h.s. parties led to a lot of fists thrown though lol. Them boys work fish party and fight hard!!
Crazy to "meet" someone who knows the area so well.

Island dyes is my fam. Lo
you know my family. I grew up in island dyes. Small world. They now rent that spot they had on the beach road as a little bed and Breakfast.

That’s very interesting hearing they have som good dogs out there. Not suprised though, the real locals are a tough breed themselves.
