I just tried this "beef jerky." Apparently popular in S. Africa. It's dried but not cooked. Kind of like prosciutto. It's worth trying, and maybe worth making. I got a couple of brands from Amazon. Both are good.

Ok the response has been overwhelming, so I can't reply to all of you. But try some of this Biltong and let me know what you think. You can get it on Amazon and from other sources.

Is it only sold online . is there different flavors ? The only jerky I'm a real fan of is the alien jerky so far .. that's sold between California and Vegas in bakers i try to always pick up a few packs of the ghost or scorpion jerky good shit but last time fucked my stomach up something terrible .but I didn't pick it up at the store I got it from a gas station on my ways

Never had biltong. I guess I'll try and order some one day. I dont like soft jerkies. I like mine as tuff as possible and preferably spicey. I dont like the sweet stuff. I used to like Wild Bill but that's soft now too. I think they now trying to compete with Jacklinks . Why I dont know cause that shit sucks

I only found out about it recently. I don't think it would be easy to find, but you might get lucky.

This is tough, but sliced thin. It's not sweet at all. It does come in spicy.
