Boyles?

Kind of a stupid question I guess so please educate me. I'm not really familiar with the Boyles bloodline, and when looking at the peds of supposed Boyles dogs I don't see a pattern. Kinda like they're scatterbred.

Can someone help me out with some peds and a little history on the Boyles bloodline? Like the foundation and what this blood goes back to, maybe some of the key players from the line.

I'd appreciate the information.

"boyles" dogs are loose line bred eli/bolio crosses that were made popular by r boyles and a few others... they typicaly always have bobby jr and or dirty mary behind them.... their are tons of different boyles type crosses that vary greatly so its not so much a line as it is a breeding pattern.

 

i think your confusion stems from the fact that there are quite a few dogs that get grouped in w/ "boyles" dogs, but they arent "boyles" dogs per se.

while he is "boyles" on the bottom, he is heavy bolio ontop, and that is one of the cornerstones of the boyles dogs.

click on her offspring- look who she was bred to and that will tell you alot about the boyles dogs.

 

Boyles dogs are Eli/Bolio/Hank...those are the three dogs that Boyles based his blood around!

 

The pattern with Boyles dog is really easy to figure out if you know how ta read pedigree The fast majority of Boyles dogs go back to Dirty Mary.

 

Also i would never say they were scatterbred the vast majority of Boyles Fondation stock were breedings he did with Dirty Mary then he took what he had off her back to the people who had and won with his stock most of the great dogs considered to be Boyles in the last 10-15 years were very nicely linebred and far from bein Scatterbred.

I personally think the best Boyles dogs comes down from the Black Paz stuff but most of the best off him were outcrossed to other lines. Also its hard to ignore Von's Zachariah Cause Ch. Emmitt put some good ones out there also.

I prefer the Boyles dogs when Gr.Ch.Buck, Gr.Ch. Buster Brown and Gr.Ch. Running Candy were thrown in the mix. The best Boyles dogs I have seen and one of the most consistent bloodlines in the past 15 or so years has been bred by Backstreet.
