    Agreed.

I'm just thinking there are only a handful of peds where one person made all the decisions and showed all the dogs. That person can then read the pedigree on his dogs.

I can read names and say a father to daughter is in bred on paper but I can't say whether the pups were this way or this way or that way.

I think all one can do is put good dogs on top of good dogs, dogs who produce on top of dogs who produce and then hope fir the best.

But at the end of the day I have no breeding skills or experience so it is merely my baseless opinon.

We owned 3/4 of those dogs. Wilders red ripper is buried on my yard. Red ranger J.r. is buried on my yard. We had RIP, Ranger , Rachel etc. Etc so I know alot about these pups. Oh and Hixsons Raider produced my CH. SOULFLY and CH. MESHUGA

Again, just my personal opinion. But you would have to tell me about the pedigree vs. me 'me reading it' and telling you.

One, you have experience and actually had a number of dogs in that pedigree. Few others have that particular experience/knowledge.

Two, (and the least favorite but most talked about topic in the dogs) what if Red Ranger was actually off of Honeybunch or jeep or Eli or Spook or Red Boy but papered as Red Ranger is papered. The guy reading this pedigree can really only accomplish one thing, fooling himself.

I have bred a few dogs here and there, but would not consider myself a breeder in these dogs, if that makes sense. I had relative success but the more I read, the more I talk to people, the more I see how/why other people breed dogs, my relativ success was pretty much blind luck. LOL
