Bull dogs on the farm

I was surprised myself. The better bred of my 2 is the least aggressive. Time will tell on my pup. You may already know this but one of my dogs is a rescue. At 1yr his owner who was the only real breeder of good dogs got wrapped up into cooking meth. The guy blew himself, wife, kids, 2 other family members and a half a dozen dogs up. One pup got away and was taken to the shelter. He was from Ireland and had a family history of breeding dogs. I offered a $500 bribe to the shelter manager to leave him intact and allow me to adopt. She turned it down so now I have strictly a pet. He’s the brindle one in the pic and is an amazing athlete. I’m trying to figure out how he was bred exactly but his Kin are a tight lipped bunch

Had a older friend who'd a big pit bull who slept in the horse stable, lying beside the horse.
The horse had kicked him once while he was a rough pup, after that he had the highest respect for the horse and loved him to death. The horse accepted the brutalised pup and they never bothered each other after that kick. The dog, 28 kg was also Shutzhund and properly trained all the way.

He’s finally starting to take shape. Almost 5 months and 40 lbs. he’s starting to trim down and muscle up a bit. What are your Thoughts??

I can't get 3 to 4 month old pups to get along let alone any adult here tolerating each other. Dams start looking at their young like a snack around 6 to 9 weeks.

Have known 2 Ch.littermates cuddled up with each other, another Ch. with his dam, and there were others, raised together living alltogether in the house with family and kids.
I didn't dare to do it, but at some places it was the way it was.

I was only successful at a cohabitation situation once. My foundation bitch M.I.A. and her daughter Lil Miss Geach. From the time LMG was born, up until M.I.A. passed 7 years later, they were always together. When I went to work, they even went in the same crate together. Never had any issues with them 2 together not 1 time.
However, both always had issues with any other dogs and I have never been able to do it since with any dog here. It always ended the same way, 2 banged up mutts and hours of cleaning red out my carpet, floor and walls. Stopped even trying it anymore about 5 years ago. It's very possible and has happen but it's never been the norm here. Usually by 4 to 6 months I can't have them around other animals at all anymore, dog or other.

I have read about it but never had the pleasure of experiencing it.

Granted I can't say I went all out socializing or making it a part of their upbringing.

The best female I ever saw planted 3 in route to a CH. On the weekends she would be turned loose on a river bank with two Australian Shephards. They would run, romp and play fight.

I told him every time he talked about it that one day she was going to splatter one, if not both of those two dogs.

    It never happened.

Female on the left a 2xw.. The male on right a champion, a gesture of separation as formality when owner was away, then allowed to run and play together in yard when owner was around...

Pepper Steve’s CH McBramble an absolute ace and extremely game dog who could run loose with other dogs, not bulldogs though. He lived in the house with his dam who was also a very bad bitch in her own right although she wouldn’t tolerate any other dog but him around her.
Mack as I called him was the exception and a rare occurrence in the world of gamedogs. No less than Rick Fowler called him an ace and one of the gamest dogs he’d ever seen.
Mack was ONE of several hundred bulldogs I’ve owned or had pass through my hands and the only one like him.

  15. Thats a truely nice pic that mate...

I to have similer pics...but my god it happend once.and once only..
the next time i tryed it ....well same as you mate.a fucking mess.
one in one room another in another room and so on..
i wouldent mind but the first ones what were together, were hardly any trouble, were aggressive as hell..
the two from them what wont get on are not that aggresive?
they got along just all cozy-curled up every night together ....untill they hit two.
    the enevitable i suppose..

And the thing with Horses and Cattle..
    hahaha.....fuck that shit man.
thats never went good for me lol.
    erm Bulldog?
    cows?...

Unless they see em every single day..that is you own the cattle and learn the dog they not to touch.
then its not gonna end well from what ive seen..
Horses are mean fuckers...but so are some dogs.
cows are getting taken out im afraid..
if you run your dog with horses there should not be any problem though...because dogs are smart.
it dose sound nice running your dog next to a horse...espessily if ya hunting...wow.

    What a task to accive..

Me..i never had such skills -or oppituitys.

    All the best folks
    and nice topic...

Man ill tell y'all the weirdest shit that ever happened to me with Bulldogs. This is a true story.About a month ago i hear one of my dogs going off amd I knew he was engaged .I go running out there and he is getting it on with what looks like one of my Brindle Bulldogs and I looked and both my Brindles was on the chain where they was supposed to be.This dog was same dam color Brindle and markings as mine but was built different and around same sizeish .He was a cur though and by the time I wrapped my head around what was happening he was able to escape screaming like a panther.
