Bull terriers and gamness

It's somthing I don't really know the answer to.were dogs like red hand considered game? I allways believed they were supposed to be show bred bull terriers.

 

My understanding at the start of the breed only the white ones were allowed to be shown in the show ring any born with a certain amount of colour was dq and some of these ended up in [ ]. Some were supposedly game some naturally were not. I have heard that they were more or less barn stormers not sure about that though

 

Speaking of the irish bred ones of the last 50 years or so.

I met a really small (like Patterdale-sized) imported Miniature Bull Terrier who had been on an apparently successful hunt on home soil, with the result that she cranked up and tried to eat every dog bigger than she was--meaning practically all of them--at a local conformation show. She was a cool little gyp. All the MBT's I have seen before and since were bigger and weren't fiery like she was.

 

ive always understood being dog agressive had nothing to do with being game nice share though got some pic of that bitch?

 

Sadly it never occurred to me to ask the owner for a pic (with something for a size comparison)...that would have been awesome had she turned out to be game as well as on fire!
